The Grand Tour
AS SOON AS ARYA STOOD UP TALL and took in what was around her, she realized all of it was in shambles. Percy and Annabeth were the only ones that looked remotely okay in the moment. They were right up to Arya in an instant asking if she had any injuries. She ignored them.
Arya's eyes glanced up to Ace, trying to see if he was regretting his decision yet. He still looked hurt, his eyes were emotionless, but not in a creepy way, in one that incited pity. Whatever he was feeling, he was pushing it really far down.
Frank was working on turning back to a human. Arya didn't exactly know how he could do that, but she figured now wasn't the time to ask. They would be stuck together on this ship for who knows how long. She would have plenty of time to figure out the inner workings of Frank's powers.
At the helm Leo was on the floor and passed out. It would be tricky to figure out what happened while he was out cold. Arya shook my head and started to make her way over to him. Maybe that Octavian kid had done something, he didn't seem like the honorable type.
Arya didn't make it very far to Leo before a powerful voice called her name. Arya's head turned to see the remaining two demigods. Jason was slumped on the floor with a head wound, the blood seeping down his face and onto the floor. If Leo were awake right now he would make fun of Jason for dirtying his ship so soon. Piper was in slightly better condition as she leaned over the railing, she looked exhausted though.
"We need a shield."
"They're going to think it's Percy." Arya warned, looking back at the Romans.
"It doesn't matter much now," Ace's voice said, then it lowered, "The damage is already done."
"That's a big shield." Arya sighed as she made her way over to the starboard side of the ship, finding the conveniently blue button with her fingers by running over the wood.
"I wouldn't ask if I knew you couldn't do it." Piper said, hand lifting from the rail down to the wood.
As if the girls planned it for dramatic effect, their fingers found the blue buttons at the same time and from below the boards that lined the outside of the deck rose two troughs of water.
"Is that enough for you?" Piper teased lightly, a smile tugging at her lips.
"Well make it work," Arya said, dropping her trident and making her way to the middle of the ship.
