"I wasn't born to be soft and quiet, I was born to make the world shake at my fingertips."

The Winter Solstice
FOR A BRIEF SECOND Arya was back on Olympus, staring Luke down as he fought with the evil Titan that was taking over his body. Watching him kill himself with the same glowing gold eyes that Jason had.
"No!" Arya screamed, her hand coming over her mouth, "Please no!"
Her chest was so tight she felt like she couldn't breath. No, she couldn't breath. She couldn't remember how. The tears were flowing down her face as she fought to try and remember a basic instinct. How do you breathe!? She tried to get away but tripped over her own feet and fell onto her ass. Her fight or flight was in high gear and she had to get away from Kronos so she crawled backwards until her back was against the side of the pool.
She blinked a few times, but everything was blurry. Her body sucked in as much air as her lungs could take out of survival, but then she was immediately back to struggling to take in air. She was trying not to sob, but her body felt like it wasn't under her control.
"What's happening?" Piper asked in a panic.
"It was his eyes." Thalia said quietly. "They reminded her of the war."
"She's having a panic attack." Leo said. Arya heard him get up and come over to her.
"Arya, I'm gonna come sit beside you okay."
She nodded, blinking some more, things were starting to come back into focus.
"I can't breathe." The words were barely audible. She tried to move her hands to signal what was wrong in case he wasn't able to hear her.
"I know. It's okay. I used to get them all the time." Leo said calmly. "Look at me."
She turned her head to the boy, and reached up to wipe the tears out of her eyes so she could see him clearly. Arya wanted this to stop. She tried to beg him to make it stop but nothing came out.
"Arya. I wanted you to watch me breathe? Okay, we're gonna breathe together."
She shook her head, breathing seemed like such an impossible task.
"Try." He said, taking one big inhale in, "In", then he released it through his nose, "Out"
She took a few seconds, running the motions through her head, and then watching him breath in again, Arya followed suit. Suddenly, half her panic seemed gone.
