Arya and Jason

ARYA SPENT MOST OF THE NIGHT thinking that a panic attack was incoming. She was shocked when she woke up the next morning with no nightmares. Her chest was still tight, but her body had been in a constant state of panic for days, she doubted that it was going to go away until after the Doors of Death were closed.

The sun was reaching up over the horizon when her body woke her up. She turned to see Ace on his back in a deep sleep, hair tousled, mouth parted slightly, one hand thrown over his chest. It was rare for him to be up after her. Normally he was up with the sun, an odd quirk no doubt from his father. Arya's training must have worn him down last night.

She got as far as gripping the sheet before she was hit with the overwhelming urge to just pull it up and over her head. A large part of her tried to justify staying in bed, it was a travel day, she didn't have the energy, she would add nothing of importance to the journey, there was just no point. It got her, almost. After a very long few minutes of debate she tackled her way through her negative thoughts and heavy body to pull the blanket off of her and put her feet onto the cabin floor.

Getting her body into gear was a whole different battle that took nearly as long.

Eventually though she found her way into the dining hall with a plate of food that she was forcing down her throat despite the very small appetite that had been presenting itself.

"Hey Ace-Oh, Arya, good morning." Leo barreled his way into the room only stopping for a fraction of a second when the person in the room wasn't the person he was expecting. He slid into the bench across from her and ordered a huge stack of pancakes, digging in.

"Is this full sleep Leo i'm talking to or no sleep Leo?"

"Full sleep." A bright smile was plastered on his face, "Aren't you proud? I put us in the water and went to take a shower and then managed to pass out in my bed. It's the longest I've slept since leaving New Rome."

"I think that goes for all of us." Jason said as he and Piper entered the cabin.

"You two coming off watch?"

"Yeah, which was a breeze considering we've had no attacks." Piper said.

The couple sat down, Piper next to Leo and Jason next to Arya. Arya listened as the three of them launched into their own conversation. Something about how Piper taught Jason a card game she had learned at one of her schools. Leo talked about his wild dreams of being cast in a movie.
