Meet the Bitch
ARYA WAS SCARED she would get nightmares, and disturbed the others. She didn't. Instead she stayed in her black abyss, and time passed fast. At one point she thought she caught a glimpse of Nico, but his black mop disappeared from her sight faster than it had appeared. She chalked it up to my guilt that she hadn't gotten the chance to try and talk to him since her return.
She was shaken awake to Piper's face hanging over hers. The younger girls face held much more color and the weariness was gone from her eyes. She didn't have to say a word for Arya to know that she was feeling better.
"Morning." Arya groaned.
A small grin popped up on Piper's face, and she straightened herself out, holding up her hand for Arya to grab it. The black haired girl looked at her friend's hand and backed up at her before grabbing it and getting onto her feet, stretching out her body.
Arya went to help clean up camp only to see that they were already done. As she handed Jason his pack he told her that he wanted her to sleep as long as she could. She was grateful for the gesture.
They started off down the tube not long after Arya's waking, and walked forever. Jason followed the air currents taking them left and right like a maze. She wasn't sure where this was going to lead them but she did not like the feeling of being back in the Daedalus' maze. Arya just had to keep being appreciative that something wasn't attacking them every few feet.
She had no idea how much time passed before they got to the elevator.
Now, Arya knew what anyone would be thinking. An elevator? In the underground? That sounds suspicious. To which Arya would tell that person, they were correct. Unfortunately, for a demigod, that usually meant they were going in the right direction.
The sign didn't help. Listing out the different floors with different, non-mundane items on every level. The only level that sounded normal was level one, furnishings and cafe M.
