Info - angst, break up, worried about the press reaction

"You can't leave me, we're hollywoods IT couple. We're supposed to be the blueprint. We're going to get all those tweets saying they don't believe in love anymore now that we broke up."

"Timothée," I said, my voice was so tired. "Can you admit that the reason you don't want me to leave is because of the press and not because of me."

"Yeah. I do love you, and I don't WANT you to leave, but...." He trailed off.

"We're just so-"

"Young," he finished.

"For the record, I still love you too, but I think we need this," I said as I approached him. He looked very sad, and I was sure I did too. We were breaking each other's hearts in a hope that we could mend them to be stronger later.

I stood up taller and kissed him. It had a finality in it. This would be our last kiss. I didn't want goodbye sex. I just wanted this one last sweet kiss to remember him by. He would still be the love of my life for a while, and I'd hold onto this as a memory.

"Maybe later in life, we can try again?" He choked out, holding my face.

"I won't change my number if you don't," I smiled sadly.

"Deal."
