Info - single mom, cursing in front of baby

"Hello," said a lovely voice.

"Hello," I said, looking into the eyes of a beautiful boy. He looked young like me. It was so often that a man flirted with me, took one look at baby Tessa and fled. However this man was looking back and forth between Tessa and me.

"I'm Timothée," he smiled.

"Y/n," I replied.

"Sorry I'm bothering you, I recognize you're reading and holding your baby, but I saw you and I was instantly enamored," he confessed, running a hand through his hair.

"It's okay, someone as handsome as you can bother me no matter what," I smirked. The handsome boy was blushing.

"You're very pretty, and I see your baby got your looks, they're absolutely adorable," he grinned down at Tessa.

"Her name is Tessa," I told him. That's when his face fell.

"Oh, my, oh my fucking word, oh, sorry, I didn't mean to curse in front of Tessa," he said sorrowfully and I loved the way he said her name.

"You have a baby, and I'm an idiot, a baby usually means a husband or at least a boyfriend," he said dismally. "And I came over to flirt."

"Timothée, Tessa's dad wants nothing to do with her, I'm single," I said gently.

"Really?" He asked, a huge smile on his face.

"You seem excited," I chuckled.

"Well I want to ask you out," he said plainly.

"Maybe we should talk a bit first," I grinned, we spent two hours together that felt like two years. I felt like I knew him as well as one of my dear friends.

"So now can we go out?" He asked anxiously.

"Most men run for the hills from a single mom," I quipped.

"Cowards," he scoffed. "I really like you."

"Yes, we can go out."

"Woo hoo! Oh sorry, didn't mean to wake Tessa," he said sheepishly, but he was too adorable for me to care.
