LAN ZHAN AND WEI YING'S ETERNAL DESTINY BOOK 3

CHAPTER 25

Wei Ying went deep into the forest and decided to test his powers. Since he was far from Cloud Rescessess and the river acting as  a barrier, meaning, what he does would not be detected from by anyone in Cloud Rescessess and they would  also be safe from his unknown powers. He took a deep breath and stretched out his arm infront of him, the other arm on his back, he held out middle finger and pointy fingers together. He took a deep breath and released it slowly, closing his eyes to channel his power core to supply power to his golden core. He opened his eyes again and enchanted what he wanted to happen when he released his power.

He drew the incantations and spined around and released the power and in an instant the incantations he drew appeared in a red glow, spreading to the whole area around him. Making every evil within the boundary he set disintegrate and those that were outside the barrier Feld. They felt the string powers that were threatening their lives and ran away as far from the areas as possible. Some of them had felt a strong power source and went out to look for it since the evil was still gathering powers for their master to come back to life.

But they didn't have that chance, not only because of the 'cast away evil' barrier that Wei Ying had set, but because they felt another power which they didn't understand. When Lan Zhan was searching for Wei Ying's vibration, his powers reached the barrier and even though it couldn't penetrate inside the barrier, it acted as some sort of harmful power for the evil. Meaning...it created something like a double 'cast away evil" because Lan Zhan's powers were pure, no evil was to survive in his powers even though it wasn't cast for it.

Wei Ying tried to cultivate his sword with his powers but he wasn't able to, he decided that since he had previously asked Lan Xichen to help him cultivate it with his powers,then he would do that. He used some more if his powers like creating red strong strings using only his powers, invisible talismans that could be cast without anyone or any evil realising it was there. He tried charging his powers to the enemy and evil barriers that would extend if he wanted it to. By the time he finished practicing it was late afternoon and he was exhausted and he promised himself to train again next time, he found a big tree nearby and climbed it and sat on one of its branches. Within a few minutes he was asleep, his back against the big tree branch.

Lan Zhan tried to quiet his hearts loud scream and tried to stabilize it's beatings. He realised that no matter how strong he was, his heart was a lot more stronger than his powers. He knew that the time he set Wei Ying save for him as a key, he realised by then that Wei Ying held to much power in him, only with the way he loves him. He knew he couldn't be himself if Wei Ying was to stop loving him. Even though Lan Zhan was a great man, his weakness was Wei Ying and he knew it very well, he had tried to hide that fact from Wei Ying for a long time. Wei Ying's love for him was his strength and he would even defeat the greatest evil with his love.

Lan Xichen had realised that and that was the reason he wanted his Dìdì to make things right with Wei Ying first. If they were to set out on their mission without their love for each other then they were doomed right at the beginning. With Lan Zhan being the first one to witness defeat and would possibly sustain grievous injuries that would not heal even if Wei Ying as to transfere his spiritual energy to him. Wei Ying would also get weakened by seeing Lan Zhan in that state and would fight with anger and agony of watching him suffer.

That would be his doom to die first and making Lan Zhan's wounds to  not heal because of the pain he would experience by watching the love of his life die infront of him, making his body refuse any form of treatment. He would later follow his soulmate in the journey to death, feeling the world to have no purpose without the man he loves. Of course Wei Ying was unaware of that, because they haven't talked much since Lan Zhan returned from his two months space time. They had secrets for each other, one thinking he was protecting the other by hiding things, while the other kept secrets because of not being sure if he was loved or even appreciated by the other.

Lan Zhan, with his eyes closed, gave permission to his heart to search for its soulmate. His spirit reached the barrier with nothing but the power of love, he hesitated for a few seconds, preparing himself for the dissapointment he would feel if his heart was to fail to locate it's other half which meant his other half no longer loved him. His spirit stepped inside the barrier and walked further, he was so happy knowing that Wei Ying still loves him. Searching around, Lan Zhan's heart was looking for Wei Ying. Lan Zhan's spirit stopped at a specific spot, he turned around looking but couldn't see him, he felt his heart beat too fast and he knew he was right where he was but he couldn't understand why he couldn't see him.

A few minutes passed and he looked up trying to see time since the forest was too thick to bring in any light, the only way was to look into the skies for time. The minute his eyes locked on a figure high up in the trees he couldn't move his eyes to look at what he wanted. He climbed the tree and the tree branches to where he saw the figure, arriving there he saw that it was his Wei Ying. He was so happy but he was almost stunned when he heard Wei Ying's spirit ask ...

"Lan Zhan...what are you doing here, if you're here to tell me I was wring about what I saw and what I felt then please...go back. I don't want to talk to you."

"Wei Ying... there's something I need to tell you, it cannot wait, I've held it in for quite some time and I can't anymore. You need to know this, so please come out. I will wait for you in the other side of the river."

"Don't bother, I won't come "

"Wei Ying!...please you need to know this, I promise I won't keep anything from you anymore. Please give me this chance, please. I know I've hurt you and you no longer trust me anymore, but I promise this is something you need to know."

"Lan Zhan...you're wrong, I admit...I don't trust you, but that doesn't include who we really are. I trust who you are and not the mortal you who can shamelessly show his body to a woman freely without resisting. So if what you want to tell me is about our immortal US, then please go back and I will follow you when I'm ready. If you don't go back now...then forget about me coming back!"
