LAN ZHAN AND WEI YING'S ETERNAL DESTINY BOOK 3

CHAPTER 7

When Lan Zhan opened his eyes he saw that there were four people around him. He adjusted his sight and he clearly saw who they were. He was still wondering how he got back since no one could be able to match his powers except for Wei Ying. But Wei Ying couldn't have.

Lan Xichen came towards him and Lan Zhan thought he seemed shaken, he looked scared and he didn't care whonwass there, he hugged Lan Zhan like it was his last datly on the mortal world. But Lan Zhan couldn't hug him back, he was surprised by his brother's actions and forgot that a hug should be returned. Lan Xichen broke the hug and looked at him in the eyes and tears were threatening to fall out his eyes when they bacame glassy and sparkled like a newly cut diamond. Lan Zhan looked deep in his eyes and called him " Xiongzhang..."

Lan Qiren came forward to pat his shoulder and said, " welcome back Wangji" he looked emotional and Lan Zhan still couldn't figure out what had happened. There were only two occupants left in the room infront of Lan Zhan. The Lan clan healer and Jiang Fengmian, the healer also welcomed him back followed by Jiang Fengmian and they stayed there for a few more minutes and left. No one said anything about why they were acting strange but he thought maybe his physical body had a reaction when he used his powers and it scared them.

When they left, Lan Xichen stayed behind and wanted to make sure if his Dìdì was alright. He asked " Wangji...you got us so worried, don't do something like that again. His am I to face our parents in the spiritual realm if something were to happen to you? Please Wangji...think of me next time when you do something like this, how would I ever live without you?" Lan Xichen started to get emotional and all Lan Zhan could do was apologize and he did " xiongzhang...I'm sorry"
" You got everyone worried, Wei-Gonzi was the most worried, he couldn't eat or sleep. I was so worried that he might do just what you did and it was so difficult for me because I couldn't say what was going in with you. Everyone thought you were possessed."

" Xiongzhang...It was only a few hours, I'm fine please don't be worri–..." " DON'T BE WORRIED!!? LAN ZHAN...DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED EVERYONE WAS? AND YOU JUST SIT THERE AND SAY 'DON'T BE WORRIED'"  "Wei Ying!!!...!!! " What?...what do you want to say...let me hear it...come on SAY IT!"  Wei Ying came out from behind Lan Zhan and started shouting at him. Lan Zhan didn't see him there and somehow he was dissapointed when he opened his eyes and couldn't see him. " Wei Ying... I was gone for only a few hours, I'm sorry for making you all worried like that." " Lan Zhan...you were fine for a few hours? A few hours you say...you were fine for two months. Do you know how many times I stayed besides you hoping and asking you to come back?"

" What? It was you? Wei Ying...you were the one calling me to come back? I did the right thing, I'm glad I out my trust in you. Thank you" " what are you talking about" Wei Ying asked confused " the key was you, I made you the key to the what I have created. " " The key...? Lan Zhan what do you mean?" Lan Zhan's face didn't hold any emotions but the words he said were somehow confusing to Wei Ying an his brother but relieving to him. He stood up and walked towards Wei Ying and asked " Wei Ying...you said you wanted to tell me something, that I must come back first and you will tell me...what is it?"

Wei Ying blushed all of a sudden and took a few steps back, away from Lan Zhan and stuttered nit even realising what he himself was saying " Wei-Gonzi...do you remember what I had said to you at the dormitory gate when you came here?" " Wei Ying was bout to answer when Lan Zhan fully awakened from and realise what was said " you finished your classes?" He asked Wei Ying " yes...it was just for a few weeks remember?  and we are already done and graduated. Lan Zhan...you were gone for two months." " But..that's impossible" " it is possible...Lan Zhan...you opened a world of your own in YOUR space and YOUR time, YOUR time was different from ours, when you say you were there for a few hours here it was two months. Do you get it now?"

Lan Zhan and Lan Xichen looked at each other in shock, they didn't say anything but just looked at each other and wondered what was going on" Wei Ying...how do you know that ?" " What...you think I don't know how to count?" " Wei-Gonzi...do you perhaps remember something?" Lan Xichen asked and Wei Ying could see that they were shocked and he thought it was best he told them what he knew. " Alright, alright...I'll tell, well...the thing is ...ahhh..-" Wei Ying..." Ok...I meditated alongside you, I...I..got to a world to the space in time but I couldn't get to yours. I saw you and could talk to you...but I couldn't reach you. It was lie something was pulling me back. I was just meditating and it just happened."

" Wei Ying...can you tell me what you wanted to tell me when I was in there?" Lan Zhan kept looking at Wei Ying forgetting to even blink and Wei Ying felt uncomfortable again. Lan Xichen saw that whatever he wanted to say much be personal and he excused himself with an excuse. " Wangji...I have to go now, I must meet up with uncle Jiang before he sets off home. Wei-Gonzi.." Lan Xichen gave him a nod and touched Lan Zhan's shoulder before he excused himself and left them talk. Wei Ying still felt embarrassed even more now that Lan Xichen wasn't there to make excuses with him. He knew he had to face Lan Zhan one way or the other but he had other ways to tell him what he wanted to say.
