LAN ZHAN AND WEI YING'S ETERNAL DESTINY BOOK 3

CHAPTER 69

Six months passed since the events at Lotus Cove and everything was going well with Lan Zhan and Wei Ying. The had not heard from the Jiang clan leader since the day they last been there and they couldn't blame him since they acknowledged it themselves that they left a pretty nasty mess for him when they left. Jiang Fengmian's wife, madam Yu was drained if her golden core powers and his son and heir to the clan had his golden core replaced by someone who was evil. They didn't worry about that since both Lan Zhan and Wei Ying knew it could never cause him any problems since Lan Zhan had cleansed it.

Lan Xichen was going to meeting after meetings and when he was free, he would go see his two  brothers and they would spend their time together and catch up. Well...Lan Xichen liked to go there since he knew Wei Ying was a unique character and when he was next to him, he would forget all his clan leader's responsibilities and be himself for a change, which was what Lan Qiren...their uncle didn't like, but...they did it either way. Another reason for Lan Xichen to spend time with them was that he felt as if they were going to go away from him any minutes. They had done what they had came for and had exterminated evil and they would leave anytime soon.

Well...he was not wrong, but he was not right either. You see...Lan Zhan and Wei Ying might have completed their mission of expelling evil from the mortal world but their mission was not over. The lands were stable with no wars against each other and every clan leader looking for ways to better their clans, but even if there was no war...there was still not enough love in each clan and let alone the entire clans for each other. They had three missions since they had started getting missions.

The first mission was to exterminate the root of all evil, which they did with the entities, second...to eliminate the remaining evil which was in the form of resentful energy. It was evil but because they were mortals...the evil had found its own way to reside in them. Their hearts,their heart had been filled with so much hate that even their souls, golden cores were affected by it. Those who were infected by it would never get to be reincarnated and this they would become their own slaves in the spirit world and roam the entire realm with no end. It was their punishment.

The Gods were not ruthless but rather faithful to every mortal. They had made it a rule since the beginning of time that mortals must not go to the evil realm which was the ultimate prison for evil. The entities which were born evil were the ones who were condemned to live undergoing in the evil realm because they were born that way. But they had decided that since mortals were born free spirited and sin free...they would not go to the evil realm even if they were to commit evil. They knew that evil beings had their own way of tricking mortals into doing evil so that their souls could be contaminated their souls and eat out of their fears.

The third as last mission was to show mortals his to love, become the perfect example of love so that the mortal realm could shine it's glory just like it did back in the ancient times before evil broke free, before the world was saved by a God who came to the mortal realm and was born of mortals just like Lan Zhan and Wei Ying. The only difference was that the little girl was a God herself and when she finished her mission, she was said to have dissapeared inside the cave. The elders if the village she was born it has seen her go inside the cave but never out. The people of the village had build a dancing statue inside the cave where she was said to have dissapeared.

So...Lan Zhan and Wei Ying's evening was like the many others where Lan Xichen would come and spend some time with them. They were having tea in the dining area and Wei Ying was being Wei Ying like always, Lan Xichen was giggling at silliness Wei Ying made and said while Lan Zhan kept spewing...'shameless ' once Wei Ying had crossed the line which he always crossed. Talking about intimacy infront of Lan Xichen had become normal for the two brothers. Wei Ying was not one to have a clear mouth and that was  why Lan Zhan worshipped him so much with his love. Wei Ying was a version of Lan Zhan which Lan Zhan was never allowed to be, nit by the Gods but by the Lan Clan standards. He didn't want to change Wei Ying and he didn't anyone else to. Not even a bit.
