" Jiang Cheng...stop it..! Get off of me right now!"

"Jiang Cheng, I'm warning you... release me this instant or I will not speak up for you when Lan Zhan beats you up, get off right now! . Lan Zhan...Lan Zhan..pleas look at me...Lan Zhan..."

Lan Zhan clutched Bichen' while he still lowered his head and that made Wei Ying too nervous. He didn't know what to do as Jiang Cheng was becoming stubborn, but he didn't know who Lan Zhan really was. Lan Zhan was not the one to do bad things or harm people even when they did him wrong or burt him in whichever way. You can stab Lan Zhan and he wouldn't fight, pour bit or cold water at him and he wouldn't react or even curse at him and he still wouldn't react. But when it came to Wei Ying, all hell and heavens would break loose, but Wei Ying didn't know that. He only saw that Lan Zhan was angry and that he had to stop him from hurting his martial brother before it's too late.

But Jiang Cheng was too stubborn to listen, he still didn't get off of Wei Ying, making him reach the boiling point. He took a few steps towards them, face lowered and stood just a few metres away from them. The closer he moved, the louder Zidian sizzled, he didn't like the the sound am what it did to Wei Ying whom Lan Zhan could feel through their bond that it was affecting him greatly. He unsheathed Bichen' and that made Jiang Cheng smirk, he knew his Zidian was a powerful spiritual weapon and that no one would be able to yield it except him and his mother. It was a gift from her for excellent cultivation result after the gifting ceremony and excellent results on his studies from the Lan clan.

Because Zidian was too powerful but unique, with a ring which was attached to a snake bracelet, which sizzled like purple lighting. The purple lighting would snake around the body of the person being attacked and at as a rope, a stinging and burning rope, could be used as a whip. But the outstanding part was that it had the ability to separate a spirit from a body, this was if the spirit had forcefully invaded a mortal's body and lived inside them. Everyone feared Zidian from the time madam Yu used owned it, almost all the desciples in Lotus Cove knew it's power and includes Wei Ying. Ni one dared to go against it and they would rather walk away than fight Jiang Cheng and that was deliberately planned by madam Yu.

Because Wei Ying surpassed his son in everything, she wanted gave him Zidian so that his son looked and was feared more than Wei Ying's skills and abilities, and it worked. But Wei Ying was not around Lotus Cove anymore since he remained in Gusu to help Lan Xichen with Lan Zhan. But she didn't care, she was eager for the day the two came face to face and fight where his son would use Zidian to humiliate Wei Ying. The support from his mother on making sure Wei Ying's life was disastrous made him grow a bigger chip on his shoulder to be bold enough to stand against the well known Lan Wangji. But whether he was to succeed or not was something that Jiang Cheng and everyone would maybe find out sooner or later...if Lan Zhan was kind enough to entertain his tantrums.

Jiang Cheng finally got off of Wei Ying and stood at the foot of the bed, walked to the tea table and picked his sword up and walked back towards Lan Zhan. He smirked and looked at Lan Zhan who still had his Bichen' unsheathed waiting for its master to give orders, it shook in his grasp, impatient to please it's master with its unending skills which he refused to show many times before. Wei Ying liked at Bichen' and saw how it was shaking while Lan Zhan held it tight in his hand. It's not like he was unable to release his wrath against Jiang Cheng because he respected his father or anything if the sort, he was trying so hard to calm himself down from what was happening before him. His respect for Jiang Fengmian had nothing to do with his son's disrespectful behaviour which he could tolerate to a certain extent.
