Hi Readers: Now, before we start with this chapter...I want to address something I wrote in the last chapter. I believe that the amount of money I wrote keep changing, and I know that it's not realistic (especially the lottery thing). But there's a reason why I did it, and it's so that I don't have to worry about doing too much work; or them running out of money if they have a bunch of fun for a while. However, that doesn't mean that I don't plan on getting back to work soon. But for now, I am going to go ahead with this chapter.
XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXThey were currently taking a walk down the edge of the beach with each other, the couple having decided to wait a bit before they get into the ocean since they wanted to make sure that their third child was tired; their third child being Max (of course). Throwing the ball into the pacific ocean for him to run into, Jay smiled as he made sure that he and Alex stayed close to one another so that the waves didn't separate them; after all, Jay did want to have his babies with him as much as possible. And that was exactly what he was in the midst of doing right now. He was holding his babies close to him as they both just relaxed. And the truth was, it felt perfect; this, what they were doing right now, it truly was Jay's dream come true. He has the woman he loves by his side, and he also has a family. Well, he will at least, in a couple months. And that was one of the main reasons that he has one of his big, goofy smiles on his face at the moment; other than the fact that he was just watching his beautiful wife have fun as she started to go into the ocean.
The future mother wanting to start swimming for a bit now, as that was the real reason that they were at the beach after all; they were here to swim and have fun. They were here to have fun, and take a swim; both with each other, and with their friends. So, that was what the Ms. to Jay's Mr. Halstead decided to do; she decided to let go of her (loving) husband's hand and start to make her way into the ocean. However, that didn't mean that her husband was the happiest about it. "HEY! Where are you going Ms. Halstead?" Turning around to look at Jay, Alex laughed due to the fact that she knew that he wasn't happy right now. But she really didn't care, because she wanted to be in the ocean right now; and if he wanted to hold her close, then all he needs to do is join her in the ocean. Not like it's that hard to do. "If you want to hold me, come into the water bae." Jay smiled when he heard Alex call him 'bae', it being an adorable nickname that his wife has been using for him ever since she first heard Matt call Gabby 'his girl'; and Jay loves the name.
Plus, there's another reason why Alex uses 'bae' instead of 'babe' or 'baby', and that's due to the fact that it rhymes with his name, if that wasn't obvious. It was really adorable too, and that was why Jay always responded to it; along with the fact that he's scared of Alex if he doesn't follow her commands. While he hopes that Alex would never do it, he would never put it past her to complain to her father, which would then lead to him being required to have a serious talk with his father-in-law about just WHY he made his daughter mad at him, which is always a conversation which Jay Halstead prefers to avoid. And right now, that was exactly what he was doing by making his way into the ocean (just like Alex asked him to). Just walking up to his beautiful (pregnant) wife, Jay smiled as he made his way right over her to; wrapping his arm around her (while still holding the ball thrower), Jay smiled as he looked down into Alex's eyes as they just held each other close for a moment before he bent down and kissed her softly. And God, did Alex love him kissing her.
Just taking things nice and slow with her husband, Alex smiled due to the fact that this was the life that she wants to live with him; she wants to just be able to have fun with him, and live this incredible life that they have, here with their friends and family in California. However, it wasn't long before the couple were disturbed by someone splashing them. Thinking that it was Max, Jay and Alex turned their heads to look down; but they actually saw that Max was still swimming back to them. So, they didn't exactly know who just splashed them with water; that was, until they felt it happen again. Turning their heads, Jay and Alex felt another splash coming from one Antonio Dawson and Will Halstead. "Break it up you two!" Jay just shook his head as he let Alex go, turning to look at his co-worker and brother as they said that. "Why are you telling me to break it up, when your sister is out there having sex with her husband?" Alex just looked at Jay when he said that, before slapping his chest. "And how would you know..."
