Chapter 68

We hung there for a while , before I asked Chuuya to take me back home . I wanted to be there before Dazai got home , to avoid his questions.
Somehow I feel like I'm cheating on him , and Chuuya both . I never been the kind to two time . And right now , I'm not dating Dazai or Chuuya . However I feel like I have to make a choice between them .
- We are here - The redhead opened the door for me .
- Yeah , thank you - I mumbled .
- What's wrong ? The whole ride you were kind of out of it - he asked placing a hand on my shoulder .
- Nothing , I'm sorry , I just .
And bang he hit my head again .
- Stop saying sorry for things that you have no reason to feel sorry for .- he barked , clenching his fists .
This time I hit him back , not hard , just a bunk on the top of his hat .
- Don't hit me - I yelled .
Chuuya laughed , then snaked his arms around me and held me , leaving a kiss on the spot on my head where he hit me . He quickly let me go , and again we both blushed .
- Ohm , I ... thank you it was nice spending time with you bye - I turned to run inside .
- See you tomorrow- I heard his voice shouting after me .

I made some dinner when I got home , tidied up , and just did some editing while waiting for Dazai to get home . I decided I tell him about what happened between me and Chuuya .
I'm not sure what his reaction will be . I mean we have some entanglement, but I don't think he would have romantic feelings for me . And I don't have those kind of emotions towards him , I do like him to a point .
What do I feel for Chuuya? Since the day I met him , my heart pounds out of my chest when we are close to each other . There is a heat rushing through me every time he touches me . He seemed genuine when he confessed. And let's not forget he has taken me out on dates already two times .
The thing is , I'm not sure if it would be right for me to date him , I feel like even now , this day with him , was a crime . I feel like I'm betraying the Agency , dating a Maffia executive. How would the others think of me ? What would President Fukuzawa say ? Would I get fired ? They would think I'm siding with the maffia probably.
On the other hand , Chuuya didn't ask me out , he did say he loves me , but he didn't ask me to be with him . Then what does it mean to not need an answer now ? What answer ? I'm so confused .

I was sitting with my phone on the couch , dwelling in my thoughts , when Dazai came home .
- Y/ N , my beautiful rose - he happily sat next to me and kissed my cheek .
- Dazai ! - I looked up quite shocked , then I just jumped up and went to the kitchen .
- I made some dinner , I'm gonna warm it up , would you like some sake ? I washed the glasses , I'm gonna get one , hold on - I rushed with my words . Grabbing plates and everything in the kitchen , avoiding to look at my roommate.
- Hm , sure , thank you - He leaned back on the couch . - You seem to be a bit off , did something happen ?
- NO - I yelled , damn he is onto me - nothing .
- If you say so - he gave me a suspicious look .

After we ate , in silence because I was refraining from saying anything anymore so I won't expose myself , I texted Yosano . I think a girl talk would help . We agreed to go out to a nearby bar , have Naomi come with us as well .
Just as I was going out to get the girls I got a text from Gin .
GinAk : Hey hey , are you busy tonight ?

Twistyourgame: oh hey , no not busy , just getting drinks with the girls from the Agency and have a talk .
Twistyourgame: Care to join ?
Look , I know she is part of the Maffia, but she is a girl , I'm sure Naomi and Akiko won't mind . Plus she knows Chuuya and Dazai both , so maybe she can have some input in the situation.
GinAk: Wouldn't that be an issue ?

- Girls - I started when I saw my coworkers waiting by the door of the dorms - another friend will join too , is that okay ?

Soon all four of us were sitting in a booth with some wine . I almost didn't recognise Gin , she wore her hair down , wearing an off white dress and a cardigan . With her whole face exposed , she was like an angel .
- So , Y/ N - The Agency doctor looked at me - talk !
- Ugh , straight to the point right ? - I sighed .
I told the girls everything, about meeting Chuuya , going out on dates with him , sleeping with Dazai , the confession, everything.
- Oh my God - Naomi seemed excited- this is a dramatic love triangle. What was your answer to Chuuya?
- I don't know what this means , what is giving an answer mean ?
- Y/N , you never had a boyfriend- she asked .
- I did - I shrugged .
- Here , in Japan , one confesses their feelings , expecting an answer of whether the other has the same feelings and would like to date - Gin said softly.
