Muji POV

"....ji..."

I could hear a voice calling out to me.

"...uji..."

"What? Leave me alone, I'm tired."

"Muji!"

I slowly opened my eyes, seeing Kaia.

"Kaia? What the...what are you doing here?"

She smiled.

"Wake up Muji! It's time to wake up!"

I slowly opened my eyes, seeing the roof of the carriage. I felt a soft sensation below my head as I touched it a bit.

"What is this..."

"Touching a woman's legs is an act of sexual assault Muji."

I blinked twice and turned my head, seeing Ms Shinmon. I blushed and quickly sat up, ignoring my body's horrible aching.

"Wow, you're a solider. I know you're definitely hurt like hell."

I nodded a bit.

"Yeah...sorry about that."

"It's natural for a guy your age."

"I-I didn't-

"You really should go after girls your age though. A lady like me has no interest in children."

"I-

Ms Shinmon laughed a bit.

"Relax kid, I'm just messing with ya."

I let out a sigh of relief, looking around. No one else was in the carriage with us.

"Uhh, where's everyone else?"

"Everyone else woke up and got into the other carriages. They couldn't send big ones this time so we all got separated into these small little ones."

I nodded.

"That makes sense."

"I chose to ride with you because I didn't want the others to see you crying. It would ruin the strong image they have of you."

I blushed and looked down.

"Thanks..."

"It's no problem. Just know, it's ok to be weak. You're pretty strong for your age anyway, don't expect to be a god. You need to learn to rely on others, thats what it means to be a hunter."

I nodded.

"Yes mam."

Ms Shinmon smiled before letting out a sigh.

"I'm hungry as hell! Hey Muji, when we get back, make me some food."

"Huh? But my soreness..."

"A real hunter has to persevere."

Timeskip

"Muji!!"

Mya tackled me with a hug as I felt the air leave my lungs.

"M-Mya please..."

"I was so scared!! We're alive!! We're really alive!!"

I nodded.

"Yeah, it's good that no one died."

"Even Zeke survived thanks to Iris."

Adjest walked over with a small smile.

"Adjest! How's your arm doing?"

"I would say better but that red werewolf really hit me hard. Iris says it'll take at least a month."
