Alana POV
I woke up with a yawn and a stretch.
I looked around, seeing the room I was in.
"Damn...I am back at Boken."
I stood up and stretched once more, walking over to the shower in my room.
Yep, I chose this room because it had a shower.
After showering I put on one of my many tracksuits, I chose green today. I tied my hair up as I walked out of my room and headed to the lower floors.
These young people were walking around and conversing and eating breakfast.
They didn't even think to make me any.
"Ungrateful bastards."
"Good morning Ms Shinmon."
I turned around, it was that Muji kid.
Frankly out of everyone here I think he's the most capable. He isn't the strongest but I could tell his senses were off the chain, and there was this weird thing about him.
I couldn't describe it exactly, but it was as if something was locked deep inside him and it was roaring to be let out.
"Ms Shinmon?"
"Oh nothing, morning kid. Tell ya what, as fellow assassins we should look out for each other. Make me something to eat and I'll go easy on you during training."
He looked at me before smiling a bit.
"You don't have to do that, I was about to make something anyway."
As he walked away I watched him carefully.
He wasn't open to attack at all.
"He's on guard around me...interesting."
Timeskip
I currently had all the kiddos lined up alongside each other as we stood outside. It was pretty hot out here, but none of them were whining like last year.
"Good."
"Today all we're doing is introduction. While here at Boken, consider us one big party. There will be times when you have to compete, but for the most part we're all going to work together. With that being said, I'll be the party leader unless I say otherwise."
Everyone nodded as I cleared my throat.
"Again, my name is Alana Shinmon and I'm your party leader. I'm an assassin with a ratio of 9:13 and a fire affinity. Now you may think it's weird I'm an assassin with high mana, but I was already a fighter before I got assessed so I just stuck with it."
I looked at the group of students.
"Also before we begin, I don't give a damn about royals and nobility and commoners, you piss me off with that discrimination shit and I will fuck you up. While we're here, we're all equal. Except I'm above you of course. Now, let's start with you."
The first kid to step up was a girl, she had long flat purple hair and eyes with red and yellow circles in them.
She looked a bit weird.
"My name is Shanna May, I'm a gravity mage with a ratio of 2:5."
I hummed.
I noticed it earlier but, a lot of these kids had rare affinities. All these rarities in one place only spelt bad news.
"Please let nothing bad happen. Next."
Next up was a boy with short scruffy red hair and bright red eyes, he seems like a funny guy.
