Mya POV

"Let's go Muji!"

The boy looked at me with a confused face, his black hair hanging in front of his eyes.

"Why do I have to come with you to your hunter classes?"

He seemed to not like how he had to stick with me all day. Sadly that's not how this worked.

"Because Grandpa said you have to be with me at all times! Plus, you want to become a hunter too right? Just come with me and learn, you need to anyway."

He paused for a moment before sighing.

"Then give me a minute to put on my suit-

"Don't worry about it and come on."

I grabbed his hand and began to walk as he just sighed and followed me.

When I first met Muji, this crippling feeling of dread came over me. I could barely breathe, and it felt like a sharp pain was piercing my chest.

I was so shocked that I couldn't move for a bit, but it all completely vanished right after.

That made me a bit skeptical of him, but after hanging out with Muji all day everyday for the last week I've learned a lot of things about him.

Firstly, he acts way older than he should. I don't know why but Muji always seemed to remind me of my grandpa.

Secondly, Muji really cared about his siblings. He probably would leave me stranded somewhere if his brother had a cut on his cheek.

Thirdly, Muji was really smart. He knew things about math and science that I didn't know yet, meaning he's obviously studied ahead.

Fourth, His reflexes and senses were insane. I kind of figured that when I used to sneak out of the room to spy on him and he noticed me, but the other day when I dropped my cup he caught it without looking.

Finally, He seemed to hide his feelings a lot besides smiling and politeness. He may be smug every now and then but besides other than that he never gets mad, annoyed, scared, or anything.

Like he killed a spider with his bare hands.

Does anything scare this guy?

We arrived at the room where I took my lessons as we walked in.

"Hey Moira!"

"Good morning, Lady Mya."

Moira was my teacher about anything hunter related, due to her being a retired supporter. She was probably in her fifties, and she had long purple hair and redish eyes.

She also wore glasses.

I took a seat and Muji bowed before sitting next to me.

"Shall we continue where we left off?"

I nodded before turning to Muji.

"I taught you everything I've learned up to now, so you're up to speed."

Muji nodded before looking around.

"Can I have some paper and pencil? I want to teach my sister later."

"Sure. Moira, some writing things please."

"Of course."

After Moira handed Muji some paper and a pencil, she began to teach once again.

"Now that we've spoken about all the Roles, let's talk more about the characteristics of each role you can choose."

I raised my hand.

"What's a characteristic?"

"It's like, a specific trait or something."

"Yeah, it's something unique only to each role. Everyone with said role can do it."

I looked to Muji, he knew the definition without even looking up.

Like I said, he's super smart.

"The characteristics of a knight, your physical strength is a lot stronger than every other role. The main role of a Knight is to deal the most damage and be on the forefront."

"What about Mages Moira?"

Moira giggled.

"I'll get to mages later, just be patient. Guardians have higher endurance and durability than every other role. The guardians main role is to step in and take the attacks that may others may suffer heavy damage from."

"Assassins are a lot faster than every other role, and their presences are less likely to be detected. This allows them to sneak around quickly and stealthily. They usually sneak to the back of the battlefield and attack from there."

"Healers can heal injuries and also restore things such as stamina, mana, and aura to a certain extent. This lets the healers truly heal those who need it, and besides just healing injuries they can also help their party member get back into the battle."

"Supporters can buff the team, enhancing their strength, speed, mana, aura, endurance, and every other element of battle. They can also make enemies weaker. Just like healers they don't really fight, but instead help the others continue to fight."

"Lastly, Mages often have a lot more mana than the other roles and can control it a lot better. On top of that, they can use three distinct spells that no other role can use, those being flight, Teleportation, and communication. A mage is like a ranged knight."

Moira cleared her throat.

"Did you get all that?"

Muji and I nodded.

"We'll speak more about what they can do later. However that will be the end of today's lesson."

I stood up and headed to the door with Muji close behind me .

"Thank you Moira!"

"See you later young lady. Stay out of trouble."

Me and Muji left the room as began to walk the halls.

"So, what should we do today Muji?"

Muji shrugged.

"I dunno, let's just do what you want."

I hummed.

"Oh I know! Follow me Muji!"

I began to run off, Muji following me very closely. I was a bit surprised by how fast he was.

After running for awhile we ended up at the garden.

I placed my hands on my knees and breathed heavily, running was tiring.

"What're we doing here Mya?"

To my surprise, Muji wasn't even tired.

"Well, I've decided to start working out! Starting today we're both going to exercise here in the yard, everyday for 2 hours."

Muji groaned.

"Such a hassle."

"What was that?"

"Nothing oh great young lady."

Timeskip

"Muji, I'm too exhausted to work out anymore."

"It's been ten minutes."
