Muji POV
"Hello again Muji."
I sighed, this woman was always in my dreams haunting me constantly. She would never cease to leave my memory, like a never ending scratch from a mosquito bite.
"Why are you here this time Cecile?"
"Oh? You're not calling me mom anymore? That's new."
"A mom cares for, loves, and protects. You did none of these things."
Mom shrugged.
"Sucks doesn't it?"
I groaned.
"What the hell do you want?!"
"No, what do you want Muji? After all, these are your dreams. You think of me, and bam here I am."
I clicked my tongue and clenched my fist.
"Just admit it Muji, deep down you still love me."
"No, I don't. I stopped caring about you the moment you walked out that door."
"You desperately hoped I would come back."
"I knew you weren't coming home..!!"
"Why not admit it Muji? After all you're not better than I am."
"Shut up!!"
"You enjoyed stealing from those people."
"I did it to provide for-
"Your selfish desire. You enjoyed killing those people at the exam!"
"No I didn't-
"Yes you did Muji. Face it...you take after mommy so well..."
Adjest POV
"J-Jax...are you alright?"
Jax spit out some blood as he smiled, a sharp pain ran through my side as I stood next to him.
"Yeah but...I think I'm gonna die soon."
Around us, the others were beaten.
Ray couldn't fight anymore, Iris tried to help but couldn't do much with level four aura and low attack magic. Muji was still unconscious, and Xander was sent into the wall and is now down for the count.
The only ones left were Mya, Jax and I.
Mya was about to run out of Mana, she was keeping this monster weakened this entire time.
"You won't die Jax, I won't let you."
"Again? My reaper must hate you your highness."
Jax and I rushed in once again, attacking the ogre with all of our might. I coated my sword in ice and infused it with aura as I swung it at the ogre, but he unfortunately didn't take any damage.
Because my sword broke.
"Of all the times!!"
I felt a punch send me into the ground as I heard a crack, I knew I was finished. Jax came flying after I hit the ground as his consciousness left him, blood leaking from his mouth.
"J-Jax!"
I crawled over to him and placed my head on his chest, thankfully he was still alive.
"Puny humans, you couldn't even manage to take a limb. I'll admit, you did do very well, however this is the end. I'll start with your leader!"
The ogre began walking towards Muji, causing me to try my hardest to get over to him. I couldn't stand, let alone walk.
"I-I won't let you touch Muji!"
