Mya POV

"Moira can't make today's lesson because she's sick."

I clicked my tongue.

"What are we going to do then?"

Muji shrugged as he continued to sit there quietly. I grabbed a handful of his hair, causing him to open his eyes.

"What are you doing?"

"Just sit still Muji."

I put Muji's hair up into a ponytail, blushing at how good he looked. Muji had very long hair, in contrast to my short hair, so it was nice to have something to test styles on.

"See, isn't this a lot better than having your hair all in front of your face?"

Muji hummed.

"Yeah I guess."

"Come on, let's go show your siblings."

I dragged Muji to the room where his siblings stayed in and went to open it, but it was locked.

"Can we come in?"

The door was unlocked and opened as two heads of white hair peeked out the doorway.

"What's the secret code?"

"Yeah!"

I giggled.

"Please?"

"No that's not it!"

"We can't open the door."

I let out a sigh.

"Muji is the bestest."

The door opened wide as I dragged Muji into the room. The kids all gasped and began to crowd him, even Karin.

"He looks so good doesn't he?"

"Yeah! What did you do? I wanna do Muji's hair!"

Karin walked behind Muji alongside me as we played with his hair. I couldn't tell what he was thinking, but he had a smile on his face, showing he was happy.

"Hey Muji, come with me to the market later."

"Yeah whatever."

Karin pulled my dress, causing me to lean down a bit.

"Can we come too?"

I smiled and nodded.

"Sure! I'll have one of the maid come with us to watch you all."

Karin smiled widely.

"Thank you Mya."

"Woah! Muji look at all the food!"

"It looks tasty Muji!"

The twins were excited as ever.

"Muji, what's that?"

"It's a bread store."

Daiki was curious, as well as Karin.

"What about this place Muji?"

"It looks like a place that cuts hair."

"Woah..."

Muji smiled.

"This is how the market back home was. Food stands and stores all over the place."

I watched Muji from a short distance.

Whenever he was with his siblings he seemed like an entirely different person. The calm and quiet guy I knew became a talkative and lovable leader of a small platoon that was his siblings.

"Muji! Me and the maid are gonna stop by the jewelry shop so buy whatever you want."

Muji looked at me confused.

"Huh? But-

"Just listen to me you dolt."

"Whatever."

Muji turned to his siblings as they all began to walk away, I watched them with a smile.

"Young Lady, is this alright?"

I nodded.

"Of course. Muji's been stuck with me all the time for a few weeks now. I should let him spent time with his siblings every once in awhile you know?"

"I see. Very mature of you young miss."

"Shut up!! Let's go!"

"Sorry for having to postpone our lesson, are you two ready for today?"

Muji pulled out a sheet of paper and a pencil once again.

"You have all pretty much learned all there is about the basics of being a hunter. There's a lot more you can learn about, such as parties, monsters and things such as rankers, and even the prophecy, but you don't need to know all that right now. The main thing you need to know and the main outcome of a lot of battles are techniques."

I hummed.

"What do you mean technique Moira?"

"Well for instance, people can make their own sort of abilities for battle. These abilities can be known by the majority, or unique to you. Like the spell "fireball" was originally someone's original technique that they made, but they decided to share it with the world. People make their own abilities all the time, so always try to make your own abilities that'll help you get the advantage in a battle."

Muji raised his hand.

"The abilities you can create or learn are dependent on what class and affinity you have, right?"

"Indeed. Due to the lord being a mage, we have lots of books on spells for different affinities in the library. The lord was very keen on studying all sorts of spells even if he couldn't perform them."

Muji turned his head and looked at me.

"We should-

"Totally check out the library."

Muji and I shared a high five before speeding off to the library. After arriving at the library we walked over to the lady at the stand.

"Excuse me."

"Oh! Hello Young Miss and Uh..."

"His names Muji but where are the spell books?"

"Aisle 7?"

Me and Muji headed off to the seventh aisle before finding all sorts of spell books. They were categorized into different groups via their class and affinity.

"This is so cool! I never knew we had this."

Muji stood there, silently.

"What is it Muji? Not as cool as you thought?"

Muji shrugged.

"It's pretty cool, but since I don't know what type of hunter I want to be there's no reason for me to start reading these books."

I hummed.

"Well I want to be a mage, so I'm gonna look at all the mage books."

"Yeah I'll be waiting over here."

From that day on, Me and Muji ended up in the library every day. I studied all types of spells for various affinities, with Muji doing the same since he had to be there because of grandpa.

During that time Me and Muji had become very close, and his siblings grew to like me a lot.

Before I knew it, both me and Muji were twelve years old and had awakened.
