Muji POV

"Mya...what do you think Karin is doing right now?"

"Muji, for the last time, stop asking me about your siblings."

"Sorry."

We had left the estate a few hours ago and I was even more worried then when we first left. This didn't happen back when I left for my evaluation, but that was because I knew I was going to return sometime in the same week.

I'm going to be gone for an entire year this time. I could only imagine what was going to happen while I was away.

"Muji, you should stop worrying so much and focus. We'll be there in a month and you can't stress yourself out the whole way there."

I let out a deep sigh.

"Mya."

"I gotcha."

Mya smacked me in the face as I let out another deep sigh.

"Alright I'm calm now."

"Really? Sure you don't need another smack?"

"You just want to hit me."

Mya looked away and whistled causing me to laugh a bit. Thanks to Mya, I managed to remain calm and not worry too much about them as we traveled to Boken.

After a month, we arrived at Boken just like scheduled.

"I wish you both luck."

"Thanks for this, Tell my Grandpa thank you."

"Give him my thanks as well."

The carriage went away as Mya and I looked forward at the giant building before us. It looked like a prison ward I'd seen in books before.

We walked forward and arrived at the gate, two guards standing on each side.

"We're here for the hunter exam."

The two guards looked at us.

"More kids? What's going on this year?"

"Don't start crying when you get hurt or your little friend dies."

The gate opened, allowing me and Mya to walk through. As we walked I could sense various presences in the area, but just left it alone as to not worry Mya. We continued to walk until we arrived in front of the building.

Once there, the door opened immediately, as if it was watching us. We walked into the building and instantly found ourselves in a room with a lot of people.

I immediately gagged and held my hand up to my face. Mya immediately leaned over to help me.

"Muji? Are you alright?"

I didn't understand how she was.

"Mya? Do you not feel that?"

Mya raised an eyebrow.

"Feel what?"

I looked around the room, feeling the intense glares of the other people here.

"That immense wave of bloodlust and hostility. It's enough to make me want to puke."

"No I don't, but I'm glad you do. Now I know to be on guard."

Me and Mya pushed through the crowd of people before finding a wall to sit against. The amount of people here was probably enough to fill Mr Nate's property.

That's how many people it was.

All of them were either adults or elderly, I barely seen people my age. After sitting there for about two hours, someone finally showed up.
