Alana POV
"Alright listen up kiddos. We call the year you spend here at Boken an exam, but it's actually a training facility. We make you take the pre exam to see if you're worth training and then from there we try to make you into capable hunters. If you can't meet our expectations by the end of the year time period, you'll fail the exam and hence not become a hunter."
The kids were all in a plank position as I walked circles around them. A few of them were struggling a bit while the others were still going ease.
It's been five minutes.
There was no benefit to this, but I just wanted to test them a bit.
"So today, all I'm going to do is assess your physical condition. Without aura, we are all going to do lots of physical activity today, so let's have some fun."
Muji POV
Ms Shinmon currently had everyone lined up as we stood at the front of the Boken building. The adults also stood on the other side of us, with their party leader as well.
I couldn't see him very well but he seemed very strong, even from a distance. I walked over to Ms Shimon to ask out of curiosity, to which she seemed happy to respond.
"Oh Naki? We go way back. We went to Boken together and everything. He's super boring, but he's strong so he makes up for it. Anyways get your ass back in line."
I did as I was told as Ms Shinmon cleared her throat.
"Today we're going to be running. We're going to take this road, run all the way to the mountain, and come back. I'm going to be running too, but if you don't get there within 20 minutes after me I'm taking off points."
I raised an eyebrow.
"Points for what?"
"We'll also be running with the adults, as youngins, you all better not fall behind."
"Yes mam!!"
Ms Shinmon walked over to the other instructor as the two shared a word before she walked back over to us.
"Is everyone ready?"
Mya grabbed my arm.
"Muji don't leave me!"
"Sorry but we both know I'm way faster than you."
Mya clicked her tongue as she began to stretch.
"After all we've been through."
"Sorry."
"Let's go!!"
I took off at max speed as I quickly passed everyone in the group. The only person in front of me was Ms Shinmon, which was surprising.
As I continued to run, the people behind me slowly faded away, leaving only Ms Shinmon and I.
"You're just full of surprises huh kid?! To think you could keep up with me!"
I laughed a bit.
"Well I do my best to exercise everyday!"
"Good! Keep that up!"
As we continued to run, I sensed someone coming from behind us, and fast. I continued to run, but the presence just got closer and closer.
"Oh. I caught up."
There he was again.
"Lapis."
"Hello Muji."
We both ran at the same pace, a bit behind Ms Shinmon.
