Muji POV

I used my other leg to propel myself forward a bit, allowing me to dodge the large overhead the skeleton was throwing at me.

I dug my daggers into its chest, dragging them down with a slash. I got punched and sent flying into the wall, but I quickly stood back up.

Arrows began flying towards me as I didn't even both trying to dodge them. I just strengthened my body to the maximum with my aura, most of them being unable to pierce me.

About four did though.

The big skeleton began to run towards me once again as I began thinking about how to avoid it this time. I chose to roll under it, slashing at its leg and knocking it down too.

It was a lot more durable than the smaller ones but it had way more openings.

I heard a march of footsteps as I looked and seen the soldiers had got back. They began marching towards me as I stood there ready for the fight of my life.

"Yeah...I'm not making it out of here alive."

I could hear the big skeleton get up as it began to rush towards me as well. I let out a sigh and took in a deep breath and charging all of my aura and mana into the tips of my blades.

"This is everything I've got!!"

My daggers lit up a bright purple.

"Dance with the Devil."

I swung my blades as poison shot out and hit the ground before spiking up in waves. My aura put a massive dent in the ground as the poison attacked the skeletons.

The poison had taken form of two giant blades as it tore the skeletons apart, no mercy to any of them.

It was my strongest spell, so I had hoped it worked.

When the spell was finished, about half of the skeletons had been destroyed. The other half seemed to have survived and were slowly being put back together.

The big one survived though.

It walked over and stood above me, lifting its foot up to crush me. I closed my eyes and let lone tear fall, my body wasn't even moving anymore.

And I had no idea why madness wasn't working. If it was, then maybe I would've won this fight.

"I did everything I could....at least...Mya's safe with Ms Shinmon."

Before the large skeleton could crush me with its foot, a large axe came flying at it before slamming into its head. Next thing I knew a strong presence flew into it and sent it flying into the wall.

"Damn Muji! You got your ass kicked!"

A small smile formed on my face.

"Shut up idiot...how'd you even get here?"

"He's not alone Muji!"

I heard another voice, a very familiar one at that. She crouched down next to me as I could see her short but pretty yellowish blonde hair and big brown eyes.

"Mya..."

"Yep! It's us! Here to save you."

I blinked upcoming tears away.
