Alana POV

I let out a deep sigh as I just finished doing a head count of our numbers. Somewhere in the last three days, Shanna had gone missing. Now we number 11, not including the three that got separated from the group.

"Assuming they're alive."

I shook my head and brushed off negative thoughts.

"Knowing them, they probably are though."

Mya POV

"Muji!! Duck!!" I yelled as I chucked my light magic spear at him. He quickly arched backwards and avoided the weapon as it pierced the large skeleton in front of him.

We had ran into a bit of those.

"Hey Mya!! Mind taking my playmate too?!" I looked at the irritated voice, seeing Jax clashing against a large skeleton.

I began running over, holding my hand out.

"Muji!"

He quickly understood as he threw my spear, allowing me to run and catch it before stabbing the large skeleton that was battling against Jax. I infused my light magic and shut the thing down, it's bones dissembling as it hit the ground.

After all the skeletons were dead, well, again, I let out a sigh of relief and fell back. To my surprise, I didn't hit the ground, but was instead caught by this stud Muji.

"You alright Mya?" He said while flashing a small smile.

I nodded and stood up straight, stretching a bit.

"Thanks. I'm just a bit tired."

Jax walked over and fell on Muji, groaning as he did so. Muji just grumbled and tried to push him away, getting a laugh out of me as I watched them.

Muji let out a sigh before taking a seat on the ground.

"Let's rest a bit before moving on."

Jax and I took seats as well.

"Alright."

"As you command sir."

"Shut up Jax."

Timeskip

"Once again we tread down a dangerous yet narrow path. The path ahead is so apparent but mysterious, what fate awaits us as we continue?"

I looked to Jax with a side eye.

"Are you narrating right now?"

"Adds to the suspense doesn't it?" He replied with a smirk.

"Adds to the idiocy."

Muji stopped in front of us, causing Jax and I to stop as well. I looked at our obvious leader with some confusion on my face.

"You alright Muji?"

He squinted his eyes.

"The ground in front of us...it's a trap."

Muji grabbed Jax's axe and tossed it in front of us, the ground opening up and dropping said axe.

"Hey!!" Jax said with a yell. He held his hand out and his axe came back to him, I'm sure that's why Muji did it in the first place.

"The ground opens within milliseconds of feeling something on it. We'll have to run across the walls."

I blinked twice.

"I-I can't do that..."

"It's easy! Watch me." Jax said smirking.
