Jax POV
"Mya, buff up Jax's power and buff my speed."
Mya groaned.
"Yeah I'm on it."
"Wait I thought she couldn't cast two spells at once."
Muji sighed, it made me feel like an idiot.
My bad for not knowing the spell of someone I just met.
"She can't unless she makes it a compound spell. Right now she's casting one spell just giving us different affects, which takes a bit of concentration."
Muji turned to me.
"Jax, once she's done you'll charge in through the front and take them head on. As you're fighting, I'll ambush from the back and we'll take them out."
I yawned.
"Yeah yeah, just don't be too slow or I'll kill them all."
"Did you just call me slow?"
Mya casted the spell and like planned I charged in through the front. My battle axe was specifically made for me by the kingdom, so using it was easy as hell.
I swung it forward and cut one of the orcs in two pieces before throwing my axe and cutting through another one. I used my darkness palm spell to bring my axe back to me before cutting another orc in half.
I clashed attacks with another orc before cutting through his weapon and cutting him in half.
"Come on, this is too easy."
I looked to the back of the group, Muji had taken care of all the orcs on his side.
A smile formed on my face.
"Pretty fast."
I slammed my axe into the ground, dark spikes coming up and killing the rest of the orcs I was fighting.
Contrary to what I believed when I first met him, Muji was a calm and calculated person who made his moves based on various variables.
However I could still sense something about him that was wild, and I looked forward to seeing it.
"You know, if you were going to call me slow you should be faster."
I laughed a bit.
"You're right. You said you were an assassin? You're pretty fast for one."
Muji just ignored me and walked over to Mya, I swear those two are dating.
"You alright?"
Mya nodded.
"I didn't really do anything so I'm good."
"Can we keep moving or are you two gonna keep staring at each other?"
"Shut up!!"
We continued to move through out the forest, taking breaks every now and then. Once the night came, we found somewhere to sleep.
