Muji POV

"Muji! Thank god you're ok!"

I laughed a bit.

"Me? I just saved you guys. I'm glad you're ok."

I walked over to Mari and began to extract the poison from her body as Iris spoke with me.

"So, where are we?"

"No idea. We were taken by the Lizard men, maybe so they could try to repopulate."

Iris shivered.

"You mean they would try to make those eggs sprout from us?"

"I believe so. Luckily, I was immune to their poison so it wasn't hard for me to quickly escape."

"Who knew having a poison mana affinity would be so clutch?"

Mari slowly opened her eyes as she quickly shot up.

"Vas!!"

"I'm right here Mari."

Mari dashed over to her brother as she began crying, he just held her with a small smile. I walked over to Adjest and began to wake her up as well, the poison leaving her body.

"Oh Iris, can you heal my wound? I was bit earlier and it kind of hurts like crazy."

Iris gasped a bit.

"You're right my bad."

"Also heal that guy over there too. He helped us get here."

"Will do."

As Adjest slowly opened her eyes I hummed in surprise.

"Her high aura must've fought off some of the poison."

"Muji? Muji!"

Adjest hugged me as my face flushed red a bit.

"Umm...hi?"

Adjest quickly backed up, also blushing a bit as well.

"My bad. I just thought something bad happened to you. You're one of my only friends you know?"

Adjest sniffled as I stood there in disbelief.

I had no idea what to say.

"Yeah I'm fine. Thanks for being worried."

"Wow Lady Adjest. We've been together all our lives and the first person you worry about is someone you met only a few months ago."

Adjest laughed a bit.

"Good to see you too Iris."

I cleared my throat as I began to wake up the female adults.

"If you're all done, we need to find a way out of here. Now that Adjest is awake we have another strong fighter, so we shouldn't have to worry much about the Lizard men."

Adjest nodded.

"Our main focus should be escape, however if we find any others we should try to retrieve them as well."

I didn't necessarily disagree, but...

"I don't want to go around searching for people. I've rescued my party members...sure."

After getting everyone cured and healed up, our large group began to leave. We number 14, meaning 8 people had joined us. This was good and bad in a way.

"If these women can't hold their own like some of these other guys, we're just a big target. Mari, do you want to be party leader or would you like to pass it to me? Given our current situation no one would blame you."

Mari looked perplexed.

"I-I...I want to pass it to you...but...I want to stay as party leader and get us out of this."

I sighed a bit and smiled.

"Then from now on, Mari will act as our party leader! Disobedience and Ignorance can lead to death, so I hope you all listen to her."

Everyone looked to Mari, awaiting orders from their party leader. Mari thought for a bit before clearing her throat.

"Let's head out. We'll have a formation where Lady Adjest remains at the front and Muji at the back, everyone else in between. Muji if you sense anything, immediately let us know, the same goes for you Lady Adjest."

We both nodded as everyone left, following the formation Mari said.

"Those with little to no aura move to the middle of line, those with high aura be ready to fight without a weapon in case we run into more enemies."

The line adjusted to Mari's will as our line continued to move through the narrow hallway. I still wondered how this place even got here, let alone how long it's been here.

As we walked in a line, we didn't run into any enemies for awhile. He walked for seemingly two hours before coming across a door.

"Mari! What should we do?"

Mari looked to the back of the line, making eye contact with me.

"Muji, I want you to leave and scout ahead. If you're gone for more than five minutes...we'll have to consider you dead."

I nodded.

"I'll be back."

I walked to the front of the line, standing in front of the door.

"Just in case, Adjest, open a telepathic connection so I can keep you guys updated."

"Right...I forget I can do that sometimes."

Using one of my stealth abilities as an assassin, I got rid of my presence before exiting the door. After leaving, I was pleasantly surprised to see I was back out at prism swamp.

The door behind me was gone.

"What the?"

I could sense a bit of mana, causing me to hum.

"Could it be someone's magic? What type of magic is that?"

After my surprise went away, a dreadful feeling came over me as I sensed a ton of presences in the area.

"W-What with this amount? How could there be over ten thousand lizard men here?"

I jumped onto a nearby tree, looking a bit into the distance. I could see them all gathered around this giant round object, kneeling it seemed.

"What is that? Is that an egg?"

I could sense an overwhelming amount of mana coming from that egg thing. The only time I had felt mana of that degree was from Ms Shinmon.

"We've got to get out of here...Adjest, we need to-

"Everyone run!!"

The door behind me had opened as I seen my group mates running out of the doorway, a group Lizard men chasing them.

I felt my heart drop.

"No!! If you're that loud then-

I looked ahead, all the Lizard men had turned and looked at us.

"We're dead..."
