Muji POV
"Do any of you actually know where the ogre is?"
It's been about two weeks since our huge party got together. In that time, I've learned how to managed this party very effectively and there wasn't a problem we had come across yet.
However there was a few days left until the end of the exam and we still haven't found the ogre.
"Nope!"
Jax was laid back as ever.
"I have a few ideas, but I didn't say anything since you're the party leader."
Adjest is...a bit stiff.
She doesn't really speak unless spoken too, but she's also not mean or antisocial.
I don't get her deal.
"Adjest, you have a communication spell right?"
Adjest nodded.
"Yes but I don't really use it often."
"Use it on us, we're about to split up for a bit to look for the ogre."
Adjest nodded and cast the spell like I said, now to decide the groups.
"Adjest, take Ray and head east of here. Iris, you and Xander head to the north. Jax, do you need a baby sitter?"
"No?"
"Mya go with him."
"Ok!"
"In two hours everyone check in for a status report."
Mya latched her arm with Jax's as the two headed west. I cracked my neck and zoomed off south as I began to search.
I checked for trails or traces of any type of monster in the area, but unfortunately I found nothing.
Using my speed, I was able to quickly search my entire area, but I only encounter some goblins and a few orcs.
"Hey, there's nothing on my end."
"Us either! I'm beginning to think that all the other contestants died too."
Mya was the first to respond, I'm glad I put her alongside Jax.
He would probably try to fight the ogre alone.
"We haven't found anything either Muji. Not a person or any monsters."
Iris checked in for her and Xander, leaving Adjest and Ray the only two left.
"Nothing here either."
I let out a sigh.
"Then let's regroup and try again tomorrow."
Timeskip
Three days had went by, and we still hadn't found the ogre. We split up into groups once again and headed off in our own directions to search for it.
"Nothing here."
"Same on our end."
I waited a bit, not getting any response.
"Adjest, Adjest report in."
Adjest let out a sigh.
"Im pretty sure we found it, can you all come to me? I'll release a bit of mana so come fast."
I sensed a mana signature and took off in that direction. I arrived there in about twenty minutes, landing next to Adjest.
When I arrived I seen a giant hole leading underground, causing me to hum.
