Leona Estate: Part 5

Muji POV

"My granddaughter, you will become her personal butler."

I was confused.

"Sir, I would rather not be in a separate estate than my siblings."

"You won't be, she's here. She's been here."

I was even more confused.

"I haven't seen her at all."

"She's been sick for a bit, so she's just been in her room."

I nodded.

"Ok, so where do I go?"

"She'll be here any second now-

Right as he finished his sentence, the door opened. A maid opened the door and a small girl walked through.

She had short blonde yellowish hair with wide brown eyes.

We made eye contact, and I felt some type of spark spur inside of me. It felt like the same warmth I had when seeing my siblings, but way more. I felt joy, happiness, and all types of good emotions.

I felt some type of blinding light hit me, causing me to freeze up. I was frozen in place for a bit before I blinked twice. It all completely vanished right after.

"What was that?"

"Hey Grandpa!"

"Hello my sweet Mya."

The small girl ran over to Mr Nate and hugged him before turning to me.

"Hi! I'm Mya! What's your name?"(Me-uh)

I cleared my throat and bowed a bit.

"I am Muji. Pleasure to make your acquaintance-

"Ew. Don't talk like that."

I locked eyes with this brat.

I could tell we were either going to get along, or hate each other.

"Fine, if you say so."

"Muji, you'll be with Mya at all times of the day except bed time and when she's bathing of course. Whenever she needs you to do something, it'll be your job to make sure it's done."

I nodded.

"Yes sir."

Mya looked at me and smiled.

"Let's go Muji! To my room!"

Mya ran off as I just sighed and ran after her. I could hear the maid following us a bit, which was pretty funny.

After arriving at Mya's room, we walked in and I took a seat. Mya jumped on her bed as she kicked her legs back and forth.

"So Muji, let's talk about ourselves. I'm Mya, I'm eleven, and I want to become a mage just like grandpa."

I was a bit confused.

"Umm, ok. I'm also eleven, but what's a mage?"

She now looked at me confused.

"You don't know what a mage is? It's like, one of the six roles you can choose from after becoming a hunter."

"What are you talking about?"

Mya let out a sigh.

"Alright this won't do, I'll explain it carefully so listen up."

I nodded as she grabbed her journal and patted the spot next to her, causing me to walk over and sit down.

"Once you turn twelve years old, you awaken for the first time. There are two powers you possess after awakening."
