Cave of the Vanquished: Part 6

Jax POV

A wide smile spread across my face.

"Come at me! Shit bags!!"

I activated my aura and rushed at the big skeleton, eager for a battle. Although excited, I was also upset. The fact that Muji was about to die to these things pissed me off.

I swung my axe, cutting the arm off of the large monster. It's went to punch me, so I threw a punch back and clashed with the beast. I overpowered it and pushed it back, but arrows came flying at me.

I smirked.

Tentacles of Darkness sprouted from my back as they caught and crushed the arrows. I turned around and punched the skeleton, sending it flying through more of them.

I jumped across the room and grabbed the same skeletons before throwing it at some of the archers. I called my axe to me as I caught it, spinning around in a 360 and cutting down some of the skeletons.

"See, you guys were probably doing quite well against Muji, be was probably hungry and low on energy. He also thinks too much."

I jumped at the big skeleton swinging my axe and cutting it diagonally.

"For situations like these, you just have to power through!!"

I coated my axe in darkness before swinging it around, attacking a rope of darkness to the end of it. I launched it at the archers and drug it across the wall, cutting them all in half.

I felt something behind me as I pulled my axe my way and ducked as it reached me, letting it hit whatever was behind me.

I brought it back and spun it like a flail, looking around. Most of the skeletons were broken and rebuilding, but it's not like I could actually destroy them so I didn't know what to do.

"Hmmm."

I shrugged.

"I'll just keep kicking their asses!"

I leaned back and dodged an arrow, sighing a bit.

"That's not going to work."

I held my hand out and brought the archer towards me, slamming it down on the ground and stomping on its head.

"It should be dead right?"

When I seen it reaching for me I sighed and jumped, dodging the big skeleton.

"So even decapitation doesn't off these things. What does though?"

I landed on the big skeleton with a kick, sending it into the ground. I landed on top of it before stomping on it, blades of darkness going through it and shooting out the ground and hitting those around me.

"Oh right! Light magic is super potent to these things!"

I jumped off of the skeleton as it tried to grab me before swinging my axe and removing its arm again. I then kicked it, sending it flying to the other side of the cave.

"So I just have to wait for the weakling to get back."

Mya POV

"Muji..."

I looked at Muji's horrible state, I used some of our rations and bandages to patch him up, but he was still in bad condition.

"I'll be fine."

Muji sat up against the wall, letting out a deep sigh.

"Go help Jax..."

I hesitated for a bit.
