Muji POV
"Who can tell me the best affinity to use when battling Lizard men?"
Ms Shinmon walked around us in a circle as we all stood on our hands. Whoever answered correctly got one minute taken off of their required time.
If you messed up, it was an extra lap when we sprinted tomorrow.
"Any heat type affinities!! Due to constantly being submerged in cold water, they have low resistance to heat!!"
Ms Shinmon hummed.
"Who said that?"
"It was I Madam Shinmon!!"
It was Ray.
He seemed very eager to stop his handstand.
"Good. What is Lizard men's go to battle tactic?"
"To ambush from the water!"
Ms Shinmon nodded.
"Good job Mya."
I rolled my eyes.
"She stole that from me."
The questions continued until the time limit was up, to which everyone was let go.
"You all have an hour to do whatever you want, because later we're doing combat practice!"
Everyone groaned besides a select few, myself included. I didn't have a problem with combat practice, but I was a bit tired from aura workout yesterday.
Since we all had aura, Ms Shinmon made us use it throughout the day while doing things such as obstacle courses and exercises. For people with weak aura, like Mya, it was probably even more grueling.
"Hey Muji."
I looked to the source of the voice, it was Mari.
"Hey Mari."
"You holding up well?"
I sighed.
"Just barely."
"Same. We have combat practice next too...I just hope I don't get paired with Lapis."
I nodded in agreement.
Lapis didn't seem like much because he was always asleep, but he was still the strongest person here, other than Ms Shinmon.
He moved as if he could see the future.
Ms Shinmon told me the only reason he wasn't in the Gifted Generation was because he isn't known.
"Fighting Lapis is an instant loss."
Mari hummed.
"I don't know Muji, I feel like you could win against him."
I shrugged.
"Maybe."
An hour quickly passed, and we all stood in a line alongside each other. Ms Shinmon cleared her throat as she held a basket.
"You all know the deal, pick up the same letter and that's your opponent. Come up one by one or I'll kick you."
Everyone walked over and grabbed a piece of paper, mine had the letter B on it.
"Letter A's step forward."
Mari and Sky stepped forward as I hummed.
"Well that isn't fair."
Sky didn't really know how to fight at all, she seemed to have never been taught. Mari on the other hand definitely knew how to fight, we've sparred quite a few times.
