Blood Moon Forest: Part 11

Muji POV, a bit earlier

"Is everyone alright?"

We had just finished fighting another batch of wolves, they seemed to be coming out less and less, so it was getting easier to take care of them.

"We're all good over here!"

"Same here."

"No one took any major injuries."

I let out a sigh.

"Good, everyone rest for now, but don't let your guard down. Be ready to fight at all times."

"Yes sir!!"

I let out another sigh, collapsing against a tree. As I looked down at the ground I seen a hand extended towards me.

"You alright?"

I looked up, seeing Jax.

I took his hand and stood up straight, my soreness causing aches.

"I've seen better days."

"We all have."

Jax chuckled and punched my chest softly.

"Once we get back to Boken, you've got to fight me. So don't go dying."

"I won't, but you better not die from being a battle crazed maniac."

Jax laughed and walked away, going to bother Adjest. I looked up, seeing the red leaves block the sky.

"We're almost done..."

I suddenly felt a presence coming towards us, causing me to look around.

"Everyone get up! There's another enemy approaching!"

Everyone quickly got up, although they didn't want to, and took battle stances. I looked around rapidly, wondering where it could possibly be coming from.

"Muji get down!"

I quickly dropped to the floor, the tree behind me being broke in half. I jumped back as I watched the tree fall over, a figure standing behind it.

It was much bigger than the other werwolves, and for some reason, it was Crimson Red.

"I wanted to get rid of the leader early on...oh well."

From first glance at this opponent, the first thing that came to mind was we were all going to die.

"No one panic!! We need to-

"It's just one werewolf, we've got this!"

Zeke rushed in with his sword coated in aura, ready to attack.

"Zeke stop!!"

The werwolf just smiled widely and ran his arm through Zeke's stomach, causing everyone to enter a state of shock.

"I-I'm sorry..."

"Jax, Lapis!"

Jax and Lapis appeared on both sides of the werewolf and attacked it, but it didn't even flinch and blocked the attacks. I rushed in and grabbed Zeke as Adjest covered me with raining shards of ice.

"Iris! Can you save him?!"

Iris watched in shock, her hands trembling.

"I-I-

"Iris!!"

She flinched and looked up at me.

"Can you save him?"

"I-I think I can."

"Then there's a chance. Lacas will heal everyone else when they need it, just focus on keeping him alive."
