Prism Swamp: Final

Ms Shinmon POV

"So, what happened?"

Muji had woken up shortly after he was healed up by Lacas. It was nowhere near as good as Iris's healing, but for some reason he was moving just fine.

It was weird.

Muji opened his mouth to speak but instead looked towards Mya, who was staring at him with eyes full of worry.

"Let's walk."

Muji began to walk as I sighed and followed him. I turned and gave Mya a wink before we ended up a bit of distance away. Muji spit out some blood before leaning against a tree.

"I'll be Frank when I say this, I don't want to talk about it. So if I sound irritated right now that's why."

I nodded.

"Go on."

"It started when the Lizard men captured us."

Muji began to explain to me what happened as I listen in awe.

"And then...Vas was killed."

I felt my heart squeeze a bit.

"Fuck. And then?"

"....something happened and I lost myself."

"What happened?"

"I don't know."

We sat there for a bit.

"And your team?"

"No idea. I would assume dead, but maybe not. They left while I was..."

I raised an eyebrow as he sighed.

"While I was busy killing the Lizard men."

I let out a deep sigh.

"So you're team abandoned you, one of them died, and you loss yourself. That couldn't have gone worse."

"We all could be dead right now."

"Fair point."

Muji seemed a bit sad, and a part of me wanted to ask him. However the other part of me wanted to let him figure it out on his own.

"Kid...I-

"I'm leaving."

Muji began to walk away as I sighed.

"You probably won't get far with a body like that."

"I'll be fine."

"Alright then. Go."

Muji walked off as I looked behind me.

"You know, me and Muji both knew you were there."

Mya stepped out from behind another tree, looking worried.

"Ms Shinmon...can I go after him?"

"Why? You know he's probably-

"With all due respect, I know Muji better than anyone. He's usually indifferent to a lot of things, but right now...he's scared."

That was a bit of a surprise.

"Scared?"

"Let me go...please."
