Chapter 101

The day the baby's gender was revealed at the station, Emily, William and the children were missing because they were on vacation that week. Andy and Robert, however, had revealed the baby's gender to Emily and William that day because they too, like everyone else, were curious, but the children didn't know yet, or at least that's what everyone thought. Mila and Marcus, just before their cousins ​​left for vacation, had spilled the beans that the baby would be a girl. Thomas, Chloe and Noah wanted to know because they wanted to buy a special gift and so Mila and Marcus had told them. All five of them, however, had been very good at not letting anyone find out that week, but Emily later found out when her children asked if they wanted to buy something special for their new little cousin.

Emily: "And how do you know that Blueberry will be a girl?" she asked curiously.

Thomas: "Mila and Marcus told us before we left"

Emily: "You always knew?" her three children nodded. "And you didn't tell me anything?"

Noah: "It was a secret between the five of us" he replied shrugging.

Chloe: "Now, please, can you give us some money to buy a present for our little cousin and also to buy one for Mila and Marcus?"

Emily: "Can I know what you're planning on buying?" all three of her children shook their heads.

Chloe: "When we go to aunt Andy's house tomorrow and give them the presents, you'll find out"

Emily: "Okay" she replied resignedly. "Your father and I will wait for you here, but you don't go too far away, okay?"

Thomas: "Don't worry mommy, we just have to cross the street and go to one of those stores over there" he said pointing to his mother at the stores across the street.

Noah: "Maybe you and daddy order ice cream for us too?"

Emily: "Okay" she replied smiling and then gave Thomas some money so that the children could go and buy what they wanted.

Thomas, Noah and Chloe were very sure about what they wanted to buy so, after entering the right store, they started looking for things for the gift. The three children had very clear ideas and, after buying the three gifts, they went back to their parents. Emily and William also bought ice cream for their children and while they were eating, they tried again to ask about the gift. This time they did not get an answer and so they did not ask anything else for the rest of the day.

Andy and Robert, for the day that Emily, William and the children would return home, had thought of inviting them to dinner so as to celebrate with them too. Andy had also asked his mother, Eleonor and Daniel if they wanted to be there too, but the three of them had other plans and so had declined the invitation. Elena and Eleonor however had prepared dinner so that Andy and Robert had more time to spend with their children. In this way Andy and Robert had spent most of the day with their children and, since it was a beautiful day, they were almost always out in the garden by the pool. Mila and Marcus had a lot of fun diving into the pool and then being picked up by their dad while Andy had also managed to relax a little since during the night the little girl had been very nervous and kicked her a lot. After lunch Mila and Marcus fell asleep in the garden, they had leaned their heads on Lilli and when Robert tried to pick them up to carry them to their beds, they clung to the dog's fur and so Robert had to leave them there. Andy and Robert then sat on the swing that was under Andy's favorite tree and their hands were both on Andy's belly. At that moment the little girl kicked again and then Andy felt that the little girl was really moving a lot.

Robert: "Hey, little one, it's daddy" he said, stroking Andy's belly. "You're really nervous these days, but try to be a little calmer so mommy can rest too" he continued to say, stroking Andy's belly while Andy smiled.
