Chapter 99

Since everyone had found out about Andy's pregnancy, things had changed and in fact at the station Andy was never left alone even for a minute and there was a constant asking if she was okay or if she needed anything. Andy really appreciated all this, but sometimes she had to hide either in Robert's office or in Luke's to have a few minutes of peace. Mila and Marcus were also doing this, but unlike everyone else, they were always very nice and constantly wanted to caress Andy's belly. Since the children had given their uncles and aunts some dolls, when one day they were at the station and everything was quiet, they decided it was time to have some fun. While everyone was sitting at the table in the kitchen taking a little break, Mila and Marcus came in shouting something.

Marcus: "Uncles and aunts, blueberry needs to be changed"

Mila: "It smells really bad" she said holding her nose pretending that she could really smell it and in the meantime Luke arrived giving everyone their dolls.

Jack: "Do we really have to do it now?"

Marcus: "Yes, but you will soon. I have to go to the bathroom first" Jack snorted. "Uncle Donkey, hurry up" he said running towards the bathroom.

Jack: "Okay, okay, I'm coming" he said getting up from the chair to follow Marcus.

Mila instead told her uncles and aunts that they had to do things properly or they would have to start all over again. Andy and Robert were also present during that scene and were having a lot of fun taking pictures and making little videos. Before Mila and Marcus made the uncles and aunts do this, with the help of Uncle Lulu I had soiled some diapers with chocolate to simulate baby poop and also wet the diaper with water to simulate baby pee. Everyone was really trying hard and as soon as Marcus came back to them, both he and his sister did something that made Andy, Robert and Luke burst out laughing. The kids had a little water squirt game and they had fun squirting a little water in everyone's faces saying that Blueberry had just peed again. This was Luke's idea and of course the kids immediately agreed to do this. While everyone was still busy following the twins' directions, at some point the alarm started ringing and so the team had to leave and Andy was left at the station with her kids and Luke. Since this was a call that didn't include the Battalion Chief, Luke stayed at the station with Andy and the kids.

Mila: "Mom, I'm hungry" she said touching her belly.

Marcus: "I'm hungry too" he also said imitating his sister.

Andy: "Okay, now I'll prepare you a snack"

Luke: "Or the three of us can go buy something good for a snack while your mother rests a little"

Mila: "Can we choose what we want?" Luke nodded. "Then that's fine" he replied with a huge smile.

Marcus: "You're always the best uncle"

Mila: "Mom, can we go with uncle Lulu?"

Andy: "Yes, of course"

Mila: "Then I'll see you later" she said giving her mother a little kiss on the cheek as did Marcus.

Since Luke had taken the children away, she took the opportunity to rest a little. Mila and Marcus, while they were outside the station with Uncle Lulu, told him where to go for a snack and he took the children there. The twins wanted to go to that bakery where their dad always bought pastries for Andy and that they also liked, so after they finished their snack, Mila and Marcus asked uncle Lulu to get some pastries for their mother. Obviously Luke obliged the two children and when they returned to the station, the twins immediately went to look for their mother. Andy at that moment was lying on the bed in Robert's bunk and when Mila and Marcus saw her, they slowly approached and she closed her eyes pretending to be asleep. The twins, when they realized that their mother had her eyes closed, slightly lifted her shirt so they could caress Andy's belly that was growing more and more.
