Chapter 107

The first few days at home with the new baby were not easy because the baby girl woke up very often at night and the twins, who continued to want to sleep with their little sister and their parents, also woke up because little Massiel was crying so loudly. For almost a week, neither Andy nor Robert had been able to convince their children to go back to sleep in their own beds until one night, little Massiel stopped crying and so the twins, of their own free will, went back to sleep in their own beds.

Andy: "I thought they would never go back to sleep in their own beds" she said after accompanying the twins to their room.

Robert: "It's been a really long week, things are a little different now and they're getting used to it too" Andy nodded and yawned. "Try to get some sleep, I'll take care of this little one who doesn't want to sleep"

Andy: "No, no, I can stay up"

Robert: "I know, but you need to get some rest. This little one just ate and so she doesn't need your boobs for now" Andy laughed a little.

Andy: "But in case my boobs do.."

Robert: "Don't worry, if she's hungry, I'll wake you up. I'm sorry but I can't help you in that case" they both laughed a little.

After exchanging a tender kiss, Andy went to sleep for a few hours while Robert went downstairs so as not to wake anyone. In the living room with him and little Massiel there was also Lilli who did not leave the child while Bunny was in the room with the twins. Robert spent the last hours of the night completely awake because little Massiel would only sleep if Robert walked and so he walked all over the house so that the child would sleep thus leaving Andy to sleep. She had not realized how long she had slept and she only realized it when she woke up and saw that the first rays of sun were starting to come in through the window. Before going downstairs to go to Robert and their little girl, Andy stopped to check on the twins in their room who were sleeping peacefully. After Andy went downstairs, he noticed that Robert continued to walk around the house and if he stopped, little Massiel would start to cry.

Andy: "Don't tell me you've been walking all over the house so far"

Robert: "I did" he said, continuing to walk so as not to make the baby cry since she was now asleep.

Andy: "You should have woken me up" she replied, picking up the baby. "You're tired, go to sleep, I'll take care of her now"

Robert: "I'm not tired" he said, yawning, and Andy laughed.

Andy: "No, of course you're not tired" she replied, shaking her head.

Robert: "Yes, okay, I'm a little tired"

Andy: "You're more than a little tired, but okay. Now go to sleep, I'll take care of this little girl" Robert nodded and gave his wife a quick kiss.

Robert: "Be good to mommy, okay?" he said to his daughter before giving her a tender kiss on the forehead and then he went to the room to get some sleep.

Andy continued to walk around the house for a while to help little Massiel sleep, but when the baby started to fuss a lot it meant it was time to feed her. Andy then settled on the couch and then put the baby to her breast and immediately started sucking the milk. After the baby was done eating, Andy cuddled her a little and then while he was changing her diaper, the twins woke up.

Mila: "Mommy, I'm hungry" she said as she continued rubbing her eyes and Andy smiled.

Andy: "I'm going to finish changing your little sister's diaper and then we'll go make breakfast, okay?"

Marcus: "Why can't daddy make breakfast?"

Andy: "Dad's sleeping. Massiel was upset most of the night and daddy stayed up with her"
