If you play with fire.. you get burned

Chapter 94

By late afternoon, Dean and Travis had brought the kids home and they were both very happy. As soon as they got home, Mila and Marcus immediately showed their parents the new bunny and then put him in the cage because they were afraid that Lilli might eat him.

Mila: "Uncle Dean made us buy so many things and there are some new toys for Lilli too"

Andy: "Did you burgle the pet shop?" Mila and Marcus nodded.

Dean: "Well.. let's just say we bought more things than we needed"

Andy: "How did they manage to convince you?"

Dean: "They were really smart" everyone laughed. "They took two things in their hands, pretended to be undecided and in the end I made them take everything they wanted"

Marcus: "And then we planned a super prank for uncle Donkey" he said laughing.

Robert: "And what would the prank be?"

Marcus: "It's a secret" he said, putting his hands over his mouth.

Robert: "Is it going to be a dangerous prank?" Mila and Marcus shook their heads.

Travis: "Don't worry, it's nothing dangerous. It's just going to be a really funny prank" he said, then high-fived the twins.

Dean: "Are we allowed to do anything?" Andy looked at Robert even though he already knew the answer.

Robert: "If it's not dangerous, you can do anything"

Mila: "Can we do the prank tomorrow?"

Robert: "Yes"

Mila – Marcus: "Yessss" they responded, cheering happily.

Dean: "Is Emily okay?" he asked as the kids left to go say hello to Lilli.

Andy: "Yes, she's fine" she said smiling."And thanks for picking up the kids"

Dean: "No problem, it was a really fun day"

Travis: "Maybe we earned enough points today to become the favorite uncle" Andy and Robert laughed.

Robert: "I think Luke still has first place" he said with a small laugh.

Dean: "Do you know something we don't?"

Robert: "Yes, but I promised my kids I wouldn't tell" Dean and Travis snorted.

Dean: "Okay, so we don't stand a chance" he replied defeated and Andy burst out laughing and Robert gave both Dean and Travis a friendly pat on the back.

Since Mila and Marcus then started wanting their parents' attention, Dean and Travis said goodbye to the kids and then left the house. Marcus and Mila wanted their parents' help because Lilli was hanging around the cage where Bunny was and they couldn't get the bunny that way. Andy and Robert then approached them and calmly explained to their kids what they were going to do. Once the twins understood what their parents had said, they let Robert get Bunny out of the cage.

Mila: "So Lilli, this is our new furry friend and his name is Bunny" she said to the dog while Lilli sniffed the bunny that Robert was holding.

Marcus: "Bunny is your friend and so you must not eat him" Andy and Robert laughed a little because their children were funny but also very cute and Lilli barked.

Mila: "Lilli, do you promise not to eat Bunny?" obviously Lilli couldn't answer, but she continued to sniff Bunny. "He should answer, but he doesn't" she said crossing her arms just like her mother does.

Robert: "Lilli is a dog, she can't answer. But don't worry, Lilli won't eat Bunny" Marcus and Mila nodded and took the bunny so they could all play together. "Mila was just like you" he said laughing.
