Chapter 97

After Andy had spent that whole day with his family, in the following weeks he had not had any more nightmares and his little belly was starting to show a little. Mila and Marcus really liked to caress their mother's little belly as did Robert a lot. At the station no one suspected anything except one person who in these last few days had started to think that something strange was going on. Andy and Robert still hadn't told anyone about the arrival of the new baby, only Emily and William knew and in the meantime Andy and Robert were looking for a cute idea to reveal the pregnancy. Last time it was Noah who spilled the beans even if he did it unintentionally, but this time they wanted to be the two of them to break the news obviously with the help of their children. However, their plans to wait to reveal the pregnancy to everyone went up in smoke when one morning Luke wanted to talk to Andy and Robert.

Robert: "Did something happen?" he asked since this situation was weird.

Luke: "No, it's okay" he replied looking at both Andy and Robert. "You don't have anything to say?"

Robert: "No"

Luke: "Are you sure?"

Andy: "Exactly Luke, what do you want to know? You're looking pretty weird this morning" Luke sighed.

Luke: "I noticed a few things and.."

Andy: "Stop beating around the bush and spit it out"

Luke: "You're pregnant, right?" he asked without further ado.

Andy: "Yes" she replied without lying to Luke. "How did you know?" she asked curiously.

Luke: "Well.. it's like last time. I noticed your shifts a little weird, Robert very protective of you and.. and then when Robert called me a few weeks ago because you weren't feeling well and that you were both staying home.. well, at that moment I thought you were pregnant"

Andy: "That's the second time you've figured it out" all three of them laughed. "Seriously, you figured it out the same way last time, too"

Luke: "At least this time I found out before anyone else?" he asked hopefully.

Andy: "Not really" Luke sighed.

Luke: "Don't tell me Vic knew, even though I don't think so, otherwise she would have told everyone"

Robert: "Vic doesn't know anything, only my sister and William know"

Luke: "Is it possible that that woman would find out something after me?" Andy and Robert laughed.

Andy: "They only know because I was with Emily when I took the test. She even found out before Robert. But this time you found out before our mothers"

Luke: "They don't know?"

Robert: "No. We wanted to find a nice way to announce it to everyone since Noah accidentally spilled the beans last time"

Luke: "Well.. if you need help, just ask" Andy and Robert nodded. "Are Mila and Marcus happy?"

Robert: "A lot" he replied with a huge smile. "And they are always very sweet with Andy. Just think that after we left the hospital for the first visit, they wanted to go buy a new stuffed animal so that all three of them would have the same one each"

Luke: "Those two little angels are always very cute and sweet" Andy and Robert nodded because they agreed with him. "It's incredible that they haven't said anything yet, not even by mistake"

Andy: "I'm surprised too. I thought they wouldn't last that long at keeping the secret" she said with a tiny laugh. "They were better than Robert" Andy and Luke laughed while Robert shook his head.
