Chapter 93

The next morning, after Marcus and Mila woke up, they all started having breakfast together when suddenly Emily showed up at their house and she was crying a lot. As soon as Andy and Robert saw Emily in that condition they were very worried, but before they could get close to her, the two twins did.

Marcus: "Oh, no, auntie don't cry" he said taking her hand.

Mila: "Here auntie" he said giving her a chocolate. "You'll get better" Emily gave a very weak smile and then burst into tears again. "Mom, it's not our fault"

Andy: "Don't worry, I know" she replied coming closer to them. "How about we go and finish breakfast in the living room with dad?"

Marcus: "Will auntie be okay?"

Andy: "Yes, don't worry" Marcus nodded.

Marcus: "Dad, get some more cookies"

Robert, since it was not the case to argue with their children about eating more cookies, took all the breakfast items and brought them to the living room. This gave Andy time to talk to Emily and figure out what had happened to her. Robert thought it would be better for Emily to be alone with Andy so he stayed in the living room with his children while Andy approached Emily.

Andy: "Hey, what's going on? Did something happen with William?" Emily nodded and then quickly shook her head, leaving Andy confused.

Emily: "I.. oh god, if it's true, I can't" she said, still crying while Andy still didn't understand. "Mila and Marcus are really sweet and.. my kids are grown, I can't start all over again"

Andy: "Are you pregnant?"

Emily: "Maybe. I don't know" she said, still crying.

Andy: "You haven't taken a test" Emily shook her head. "Do you want to take one?" Emily shook her head again.

Emily: "I'm afraid it's positive"

Andy: "Okay. We'll wait. Does William know you're here?"

Emily: "No, I practically ran away from home"

Andy: "Do you want me to send Robert to get him?"

Emily: "Not yet. The kids are still sleeping and.. I have to call my mom to get them and.."

Andy: "Calm down, I'll tell Robert to put your kids with our mothers and we'll send our kids to Dean so they can go get the bunny" Emily nodded. "Can I leave you here alone for a few minutes?" Emily nodded again.

Andy joined Robert and the kids in the living room and as soon as Mila and Marcus saw their mother, they immediately asked her if Aunt Emily had stopped crying.

Andy: "Don't worry, Aunt Emily will be fine soon"

Mila: "Are you really sure?" Andy nodded.

Andy: "Do you want to go with uncle Dean to get the white bunny?"

Marcus: "Can we really get a bunny?" Andy nodded. "And we can also give it whatever name we want?" Andy nodded again. "Okay, call uncle Dean right away"

Andy: "I'll call Uncle Dean but now you guys go with Dad to change your clothes right away, okay?"

Neither of the two children answered because they started running up the stairs to their room while Robert waited a moment before reaching them.

Robert: "Did you find out what happened to Emily?"

Andy: "Yes. As soon as Dean comes to get the children and our mothers come to get the other three, I'll tell you everything"

Robert: "Do I have to worry?"

Andy: "No, don't worry" she replied smiling sweetly. "As soon as Mila and Marcus are ready, go to William and tell him that Emily is here. Only when all the children have left the house, can you come back here, okay? In the meantime, I will take care of Emily"
