Chapter 95

The night before the hospital visit, however, the children asked their mother why she was sick those days and Andy was surprised because she didn't think that the two of them had noticed. So before the bath, Andy and Robert picked up their children, they sat down on the sofa because it was really time to tell them what was happening.

Andy: "Since you are asking so many questions, I think it is time for Dad and I to tell you something"

Marcus: "Something nice?" Andy nodded. "Why nice if you are sick?"

Andy: "There is a reason why I have not been very well these days" Marcus and Mila looked at their mother very confused. "The reason why I have not been very well is because a baby is coming"

Mila: "Why are you sick if a baby is coming?" the two twins were still very confused.

Robert: "The baby that is coming is starting to grow in mommy's belly"

Marcus: "Mommy ate a baby that is now growing inside her?" Andy and Robert laughed because both twins made very disgusted faces.

Robert: "No, don't worry, the mother didn't eat any of the babies. Some things happened and.. here.." Robert was in trouble because he didn't know how to continue and so Andy intervened.

Andy: "You also grew inside my belly before you were born, just like this baby will grow"

Mila: "So if it's like us two, there will be two babies?" she asked a little curiously.

Andy: "No, I really think that this time it will only be one"

Mila: "And when can we see the baby?"

Andy: "Tomorrow I have to go to the doctor and only there will we be able to see the baby for the first time. Do you want to come too?"

Mila – Marcus: "Yesss"

Marcus: "Will it be a baby just like us?"

Robert: "I think that for now the baby looks more like a blueberry"

Marcus: "But the blueberry is very small"

Robert: "It takes many months for the baby to grow"

Mila: "And then when the baby is born, he will be very cute like us" Andy and Robert smiled.

Andy: "All three of you will be very cute" Mila and Marcus nodded. "Are you happy with the news?"

Mila: "Yes, so there will be someone else to play with and do lots of pranks"

Andy: "But you have to promise one thing"

Marcus: "What?"

Andy: "For a while, this will be our secret"

Marcus: "Okay"

Robert: "And now it's bath time"

The children, as usual, ran upstairs to the bathroom and waited for their parents to join them so they could give them a bath. While Robert bathed the children, Andy prepared the twins' pajamas and then started preparing dinner. Once Mila and Marcus had their baths and then Robert had put their pajamas on, they joined Andy in the kitchen and had dinner together. Mila and Marcus were very curious about the arrival of the new baby and in fact they continued to ask a lot of questions even afterward while they were all playing together. Most of their questions were about how a baby could grow inside their mother's belly and when they asked how a baby could have ended up there, Robert decided that it was time for bed. Before going to sleep, the children cuddled Lilli and Bunny and then Andy and Robert took the children to their room. Mila and Marcus got into their beds under the covers, hugged their teddy bears and then Robert started telling them a bedtime story. As soon as the children fell asleep, Andy and Robert gave them a soft and sweet kiss on their foreheads and then they went to their rooms. Before Andy lay down in bed next to her husband, she took something from the bedside table that she had found in the house a few hours earlier.
