MARIE
I was busy eating lunch at a McDonald's sitting at the same table with Vincent and Kyrie "Anyway," I began. "The store I'm working at is called Darkside. It was pretty slow since this one girl used to bring her Exorcist animatronic to the store and not even the workers liked it." "Yeah," Vincent agreed as he picked up his Big Mac. "That movie's not for everyone. I watched it once and it was a big nope from that point on." "Ew," Kyrie let out. "No. I can't even watch that movie without getting nightmares. Thankfully, Midora told me that the Devil isn't real so I don't have to worry about him hurting me or anyone for that matter." "I almost exorcised Ryuk," Vincent told me. I made a confused look on my face. "You serious?" I asked. "How?" Vincent shook his head. "It didn't work," he answered. "Thankfully, that was just during our first encounter. Anyway...let me tell you how it almost happened."

MID-AFTERNOON
VINCENT
I was in my heavy breathing since I had just killed a man. (Well, a bad man to be more precise.) Thankfully, the teenage girl that he kidnapped was found safe and sound without a scratch on her. Another good thing was that the girl wasn't raped or whatever. (I mean, I hope she wasn't raped.) "Okay, Vincent," I told myself quietly. "No one will know that you did it. It's not like you'll become the next Light Yagami. There's no way." I sat there on the ground heavily breathing and trying to process what happened. I couldn't believe that something like that would happen. I picked up my plush of Vincent Valentine and held it close to my chest as I tried to breathe normally.
"First time?" I heard a dark voice say. I quickly turned around and found a tall dark figure that had black spiky hair, red glowing eyes and wore a similar outfit that looked like Eric Draven from The Crow would wear. "What the f...?!" I almost yelled out the f-bomb. I dropped my Vincent Valentine plush and shrieked out the word, "DEMON!" The figure stopped smiling and made a confused look on his face. "Oh come on," he said out loud. "You really think that I'm a..." "Stay away from me!" I told him as I got out of my chair and ran out of the room. "SOMEBODY HELP ME! HELP! THERE'S A DEMON IN THE HOUSE! HELP!"
RYUK
I laughed hysterically after I heard that boy say that. "For a Vincent Valentine lookalike," I told him. "You really are a fraidy cat compared to your favorite video game character." I sighed. "Oh well," I continued.
VINCENT
I gasped once I heard the demon laugh. I started to heavily breathe through my mouth in fear. "I gotta save myself," I told myself. "I've gotta save myself! That demon may have come to take my soul and possibly possess me." I began to look through my grandparents' drawers in the kitchen to see if they had any crucifixes. "Now," I told myself. "Where can I find any crosses?" I continued to panic and it didn't help that my hands were shaking. I kept heavily breathing in and out through my mouth. I tried to open the drawer, but it turned out that it was locked. "Oh damn," I panicked. "Where's the key? Grandma, why did you lock the drawer if you knew that a crucifix would come in handy one day?" I tried looking for the key, but it turned out it was not the handle above the drawer. My anxiety got even worse as I heard the sound of something else. In fear and in desperation, I went to the key holder and picked off a set of keys.
