1. Just because they loved you once does not mean they love you still. Learn to cherish and reminisce memories, but don't try forcing them to happen again.

2. If you want to drink, drink. If you want to smoke, smoke. However, do not let these things ruin your relationships, get in the way of your goals, or serve as healing mechanisms. Also: do not give into peer pressure. You're ready when you're ready.

3. Don't change anything about yourself. Not even the things you hate. One day you'll find people who love all of your flaws and it will be amazing.

4. If a boy lies to you once, he will do it again. Don't let him. Say goodbye after the first time.

5. Sadness is inevitable no matter how much you tell yourself you  don't care about something. Love deeply, forgive endlessly, and dream big.

6. If you're going to passionate about something you better be knowledgeable on it too. No one likes to hear opinions that aren't backed up.

7. Find something to live for. As human beings we have the power to do so much more than just eat, sleep, and breathe. Love, create, think, innovate, and converse.

8. Love your mother and make sure she knows how much you love her. There is no one on this earth who cares about you more.

9. Remember that everyone has their own struggles that they're dealing with. Be compassionate.

10. Make mistakes. Make as many mistakes as you need to in order to learn from your mistakes. Everything happens for a reason, but it's up to you to find that reason.
