Christmas!

I woke up around 9 a.m and i sat up and stretched and looked around tiredly. The sun was shining through the curtains and i looked over at Colby. I smiled tiredly down at him as he was sleeping with his arms around my waist. I picked up my phone from the nightstand and it said 'December 25th' and i remembered it's Christmas. I set my phone down and kissed Colby's forehead and whispered to him. 

"Baby. time to get up. it's Christmas."

He groaned and squeezed me tighter and pulled me back down on the bed so he can hold me in his arms more and he nuzzled his head in my neck. I hugged him close and kissed his head and rubbed his hair. After a few minutes he finally got up and he yawned as he looked over at me tiredly.

Colby: "Whats today again?" He asked in his raspy morning voice.

"Christmas babe."

 Colby perked u when i told him it's Christmas and he smiled at me before hugging me.

Colby: "Merry Christmas baby."

I smiled and hugged him back. We got up and Colby went walking over to our closet and i grabbed his shirt from behind.

"Where are you going?" 

Colby: "To change. Why?" 

"Lets just spend the day in our Christmas Pj's.." Then i looked at him and remembered he is just wearing his boxers right now. 

"Or in your case your snowmen Boxers." I said and smirked at him as he blushed.

Colby: "I will at least change into actual Christmas Pj's"

"Fine but hurry up." 

I sat on the bed and after a minute he finished changing and he picked me up bridal style as he carried me downstairs. He carried me into our living room and set me on the couch before going over and turning on the lights for the tree. Our living room was decorated with all kinds of Christmas decorations. I smiled as i watched him plug in the tree and he grabbed the gifts from under the tree. he made a pile that had his name and he made me my pile of ones with my name. 

Colby: "Who should open their gifts first?" He asked smirking.

"Lets make it simple and do rock, paper, scissors."

He came over to me and we did rock, paper, scissors. He did rock and i did scissors. I groaned and slouched in my spot. He chuckled at me before sitting down next to me and putting one arm around me and he picked up one of his gifts with his other. I smiled as i was watching him slowly open each of his gifts from me. One gift was a shirt, one was a new water bottle i had custom made that says 'Taken man' on the side, one was a new pair of sweatpants and a matching hoodie, etc. When he finished he hugged me and kissed my cheek.

Colby: "Thank you for everything baby."

"Your welcome. now can i open my gifts now?!" I say excited. 

Colby: "Of course you can" He said smiling. 

I started to open my gifts and one was a hoodie, one was a locket with me and Colby inside it, one was a Yellowstone blanket (it's my favorite show but you can change that to whatever you want :), one was a flannel, etc. 

When i got to the last gift it was a small box, about the size of my hand. I was smiling as i picked it up and Colby was smirking as he stared at me to open it. When i opened it i saw a silver band ring with a diamond in the middle. I stared at in shock because i thought it was so pretty but looked so expensive. Before i could say or think anything Colby stood up and took the box out of my hands and got down on one knee in front of me. 

Colby: "Y/N i love you so much. I have loved you with all my heart since we were teenagers. Even when we had small arguments i never lost those feelings for you. These last 5 years you have made me the best of myself being with you even before we got together. What my point is though is i want to spend the rest of my life with you so Y/N..will you marry me?"

I stared at him in shock for a few seconds before tearing up and i was smiling.

"Y-Yes." I mumbled.

i had a few tears escape my eyes and Colby sighed in relief and he smiled and stood up and put the ring on my fingered. then he crouched down in front of me and wiped my tears.

"I love you baby." I say to him smiling and crying.

Colby hugged me tight and picked me up in his arms as he hugged me.

Colby: "I love you too hun." He said smiling and hugging me tightly. 

I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist as we were hugging and then he sat down on the couch and he was rubbing my back and head/hair. He put a Christmas movie on the TV and we cuddled under a blanket as we watched a movie together and talked about our future. That was the best Christmas ever.

That was a bit of a longer story i know but i think it was good.
