One night, me and my boyfriend, Colby Brock, were in bed. It was around 10 p.m. and i was watching some TV. Meanwhile, my boyfriend already fell asleep next to me. I wasn't paying much attention to the TV though so it was playing something random and i was scrolling through my phone.
After a bit I felt Colby shift a little in the bed but still had his back towards me. Then, on the TV, some girl was crying. I felt Colby shift and jump awake. He jolted up and looked over at me. I looked up at him a bit confused and his eyes met mine. His eyes were wide at first before he relaxed.
He looked at the TV and saw the scene was of a girl crying and then looked at me again. He sighed in relief and relaxed, so he wasn't so tense. I shut my phone off and set it down next to me on the nightstand. After a second, he spoke up.
Colby: "I thought you were crying."
Then he just wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close and pulled me down to lay with him. With that, he fell right back to sleep. I smiled knowing he cared about me.
