Your older brother wrote you a song

I'm 18. My older brother, Colby, is 23. I still live in Kansas while Colby lives in L.A. with his friends. I just graduated too. I watch his YouTube videos everyday. One day, i saw his newest upload titled "I'll Be There For You" and it was a song.

I laid on my bed an opened the video. I put my headphones on and started listening to the song. I held my phone up so i could watch the music video too. Then it showed pictures of me and Colby together growing up.

"I'm 23 and my folks are getting old. I know they don't have forever and i'm scared to be alone So i'm thankful for my sister even though sometimes we fight. When school wasn't easy, she's the reason i survived. I know she'd never leave me and i hate to see her cry so i wrote this verse to tell her that i'm always by her side. I wrote this verse to tell her that I'm always by her side. I wrote thisverse to tell her that; The world's not perfect but it's not that bad. If we got each other and that's all we have. I will be your brother and I'll hold your hand. Then the song ended. By the time it was over i smiled and wiped my eyes which were teared up and i didn't realize it till now. Then i pulled up Colby's number but right before i answered, he called me as if he was reading my mind. I answered, smiling.

"Hey Brother!"

Colby: "Hey, little one. Whatcha doing?"

"Sitting on my bed. I just listened to that song on your channel."

Colby: "What did you think?"

"I started crying not going to lie."

Colby: "Aww, little one. So you loved it."

"I loved it, yes."

Colby: "I love you, sis. To the moon and back."

"I love you too. To the moon and back."
