He's not my boyfriend...

Me and Katrina were hanging out in the living room with Sam and Colby. Colby was sitting next to me with his hand on my thigh. He gently was rubbing on my thigh, and we kept whispering jokes to each other and fooling off, not really listening to Kat and Sam. 

Colby whispered to me another joke and i laughed a bit, trying not to be loud. I playfully punched his arm and he whined. Then we heard Kat and Sam laugh. We looked over at them and realized they had been watching us.

Colby: "Looks like some people are watching, huh?" He asked, smiling and nudged my side.

"Hey!" I said, nudging him back. 

He chuckled and started tickling me. I busted out in laughter as he continued to tickle me and pinned me down on the couch. Eventually he stopped when i was out of breath. Then Colby's phone went off and he answered it. After a minute he hung up.

"Who was that?"

Colby: "It was Brennen. He asked to shoot a video at his place. I'm going to go."

"Alright. Have fun then."

Colby chuckled and got up. He put his phone in his pocket and kissed my head before leaving. I looked over at Katrina and Sam. They giggled a bit. 

"What?"

Sam: "Oh nothing. You're just blushing, and you and Colby are the perfect couple."

"He's not my boyfriend..." I said, confused on why he thought that.

Katrina: "I think you better tell him that." 

This made me more confused.

"What?"

Katrina sighed.

Katrina: "Only love makes you crazy sweetheart."

Sam: "He loves you Y/n. You clearly do to just based of the way you guys play with each other."

I paused and looked away. I thought about all the memories of us playing around and started realizing we do love each other.

Colby: "Come on Y/n! It'll be fun!" 

Colby said trying to get me to dance. I laughed and shook my head.

"I'm good."

Colby sighed and groaned.

Colby: "Come on!"

Colby ran over and picked me up. He spun me a bit before putting me back on my feet and started to dance around. I sighed and laughed as i started dancing along with him.

"Colbs! Come here!" I shouted from the living room since Colby was in the kitchen.

Colby: "What is it gorgeous?" He asked as he came in.

"Come over here."

Colby groaned and chuckled as he came over to the couch where i was sitting. I grabbed his hand and pulled him down onto the couch and crawled up next to him. He put his arms around me and pulled me into his chest.

I screamed as i woke up, sweating and crying from a nightmare. I sat up quickly and in 2 seconds Colby came running in the room, very concerned and worried. He grabbed the doorway to balance himself before almost falling. He quickly turned on my light.

Colby: "What is it? Are you ok? Did something happen?" He asked concerned.

I sat there in shock from the nightmare and couldn't even talk and just broke down in tears. Colby walked over and crawled onto my bed. He came behind me and sat down on my bed, pulling me onto his lap.

He held me in his lap and held my head on his chest. He rubbed my back to comfort me.

Colby: "It's ok. It was just a nightmare. It's ok. It'll be alright. I'm here to protect you."
