Me and Colby have been together for about 6 years. We've lived together, been best friends, went on adventures, and had over all fun with each other for years. Today we decided to come visit my parents for a vacation.
While we were here, we were sitting on the couch in the living room and talking about some random stuff. Eventually Colby turned to me.
Colby: "Hey babe?"
"Yea?"
Colby: "Can you go get me some water from the kitchen?"
"sure." I said, getting up.
I go in the kitchen and get him some water but before i walked back in the living room, i stopped to listen to what Colby and my parents were talking about in there.
Colby: "So Mr and Mrs. Y/l/n Can i ask you guys something?"
Dad: "Sure boy. what's up?"
Colby: "May i marry your daughter and make her my wife? I want her to be the only girl that i love for the rest of my life and give her the best of me till the day that i die. So can i have your guys blessing?"
My mom gasped quietly and my dad chuckled.
Dad: "Of course you can. Your the perfect man for our daughter."
Mom: "Yes. you have our blessing."
