Today, my boyfriend is taking me to prom. Me and my friends, Katrina and Tara, went with me to find a dress. They already had dresses and i was last to get one. I picked out this dress:

We got dressed at my house and did each other's makeup. Prom started at 8 but the grand march was at 7 so we needed to be there at 6: 30. We all got in my truck and went to the school. When we got there we went to the classroom we were supposed to. When i walked in i say Colby in this:

Colby looked up from taking with Jake and Sam. He smiled and blushed as he looked at me, gazing at my dress and matching eyeshadow. He walked over and wrapped his arms around my waist.
Colby: "You look amazing."
I smile and he kisses me. He took my hand and we got ready for the grand march. We got lined up and Colby wrapped his arm around mine. Then the principle called us out.
"Next is Senior, Colby Brock, escorting Junior, Y/n Y/l/n."
Then we walked out. Everyone cheered and clapped as we came out. We smiled, they took a picture, and then we walked off.
After everyone was done getting announced, they started the dance. I was talking with some of my friends when i felt someone take my shoulder and gently spin me around to face them. And of course it was Colby. I smiled and he held out his hand.
Colby: "Wanna dance?"
"Of course."
I took his hand and he led me to the floor to dance. He put his hands on my waist and i put mine around his neck as we slow danced together.
