Shots

Today i have to go get shots. I hate getting shots. the needles scare me A LOT! i hate them so much. 

My alarm went off around 10 a.m. like usual. me and Colby hate getting up any earlier. Colby was first to get up and shut the alarm off. He got up and came over to me, tickling me to get me up.

Colby: "Wake up sunshine!" He said with his raspy morning voice but he was smiling and happy at least.

I started giggling as he was tickling me on my sides.

"Colby! Stop!" I say between giggles. 

He stopped after a while and helped me stand.

"Could of done that myself ya know."

Colby: "Can't i help my wonderful girlfriend?"

I giggle and roll my eyes playfully. Me and Colby went to our closet and started getting dressed. as Colby was going into the bathroom and spoke to him.

"So you know what we have to do today right?"

Colby paused and thought for a moment.

Colby: "Uh....I don't know. what?"

"I have to get stupid shots today."

Colby: "What shots?"

"My flu shot and HPV shot."

Colby: "Alright what time?"

"2 o'clock but we can go sooner. and i want to get it done sooner because i have grocery's to get."

Colby groaned and i laughed. 

We finished getting dressed and we ate our lunch pretty much. After that we got our stuff and started driving to the doctor's office.

Once we got there we went in and went to the floor we needed to be on and i went to the receptionist.

Receptionist: "Hello ma'am, do you have an appointment with us today?"

"Yes i do"

Receptionist: "Ok and what is the name?"

"Y/n Y/l/n"

Receptionist: "Alright and what are you here for today?"

"I'm here to get 2 shots i believe."

Receptionist: "Alright a nurse will be out shortly."

She smiled at me and i smiled back a little as me and Colby walked over to a chair in the waiting room. i was nervous and shaking my leg while tapping my foot on the ground. Colby held my hand while we waited. After about 5 minutes a nurse came out.

Nurse: "Y/n Y/l/n?"

"That's me." I said getting up.

Nurse: "Alright follow me."

We walked through a small hallway to a room. When we got there i sat in the chair next to the desk and Colby sat next to me. The nurse type some stuff into the computer.

Nurse: "Alrighty so your here for the flu and HPV shots correct?"

"Yes i am."

Nurse: "Ok i'm just going to ask you a few questions before we get started alright hun?"

"Ok."

Nurse: "Perfect alright so first do you have any relative or family member that's had an reaction to these types of shots?"

"No."

Nurse: "Have you or any family or relative had a disorder or body issue?" 

"No."
