Taj POV
"Happy birthday to you" my family finished out singing.
I smiled.
I closed my eyes and made a wish just wanting for my mom and siblings to not have to want for shit and be taken care of and happy.
I opened my eyes and blew out my candles that read 14.
"Okay we didn't get much gifts but I think you'll like what we got you" my mom said.
She handed me a small bag.
I took the gift paper out and looked up at her smiling.
"Ma" I said.
She stood smiling ear-to-ear.
"What is it" Jay asked.
I pulled out my new iPhone. I've been rocking an android these past two years and now I was finally team iPhone.
"You got an iPhone" Tiara said excited.
I went and hugged my mom thanking her.
"It's already got your service transferred you just have to add in your contacts" she said.
"Okay" I said.
"Can I have your other phone" Jay asked.
"Boy" my mom said.
"What" he said looking at her confused.
My mom jumped at him.
"Yea man after I transfer my stuff over you can have it" I said.
He smiled.
I ate the first slice, a tradition we live by. I had plans to go out with Rico to the mall so I went and got ready for that.
Pops dropped us off putting $200 a piece in our hands.
I thanked him and we went inside.
We walked around mostly window shopping and I got a new hoodie and a few tshirts.
"You trynna come with me to the spot I gotta talk to Ty" Rico asked.
"How long you finna be" I asked as we left out the mall.
"Shit like an hour or two" he said.
"Aight that's cool" I said.
We were supposed to take the bus home instead one of his homeboys picked us up in a car.
"Ty this my cousin Taj that just moved from the west" Rico said as we got in the back seat.
Ant sat up front and I dapped him up and Ty.
"You bang" Ty asked.
"Nah G" I said to him.
He nodded.
"Wait this the one that got on Kanye pussy ass" Ty said.
"Yea" Rico said.
Ty nodded.
"I appreciate that, ever since I found out that nigga been in hiding knowing it's up for his ass" Ty said.
"Shit I'm knowing" Rico said.
We drove across town and made it to an abandoned house.
I left my stuff in the car and we went inside. It wasn't shit in here but a card table and some chairs in different parts.
"Welcome to the trap" Ty said to me as he lead us to a living room area that had a tv on the wall and a leather brown couch.
I nodded looking around.
