Tierra POV
"So what's up with you and Kanye, I saw you took all his post down and shit" Toya my best friend said as me, her and my cousin Trinity sat at our regular seats in lunch.
"G fuck him. He really tried to put his hands on me" I said.
Trinity shook her head.
"What Ty say" she asked.
"That he better never show his face around him" I said.
I looked up seeing Rico and his cousin Taj walk by. I didn't know he went to this school until about two weeks ago when I saw him passing by my gym class as we went outside.
Taj looked at me and smiled giving me a simple head nod. I just smiled back he had a nice smile.
"Ooh I see you" Toya said.
I looked at her confused.
"Girl his tall chocolate ass fine as hell, ain't he new" she asked.
"Who Taj, that's Rico cousin" Trinity.
Her and Rico go together and have been for the last 2 years.
"Wait Rico did say Taj was the one that stopped Kanye from hitting you" Trinity said looking at me.
"He did" I said nodding.
"So what's up with that" Toya asked.
"What you mean" I asked.
"Girl it's obvious you like him" she said.
"I'm mean he's fine but I just got out of a relationship with Kanye and I don't know if I'm ready to get back in another one" I said.
"Girl please you better get on that he new and you know how these hoes be about new niggas" Toya said.
"Like flies on shit" she added.
"Really G" I said chewing my pizza slice.
"My bad but you know it's true" she shrugged.
"Ooh you want me to see if he coming to the Halloween party" Trinity asked.
I looked over at Taj as he sat a few tables away from us.
"Girl yes ask" Toya said.
I looked at Trinity.
"Look ask without making it known that I want to know" I said.
Trinity nodded.
She got on her phone.
"They finna come over" she said.
"Wait what" I asked nervous.
"Girl be chill" she said.
I saw them get up so I got on my phone as if I was doing something.
"What up y'all good" Rico asked taking a seat by Trinity.
Taj sat across from me.
"Hey" he said when I looked at him.
"Hey" I said back trying to hide my nervousness.
"Hey I'm Toya" she said to Taj.
"What up I'm Taj" he said to her.
"So y'all going to the Halloween party this weekend" Toya asked.
"Yea you know we going" Rico said.
"Y'all going" Rico asked.
"Oh you know I'm there" Toya said.
