Tierra POV
"Smile baba" I said to Tahir as I stood at my moms house taking pictures of the kids in their costumes.
They were dressed as smurfs and Heiress was smurfette. Taj let her choose who to dress up as and she chose this.
I was still at the house and Taj was staying with his mom, and still paying my bills.
I still hadn't put my ring back on and we still have yet to have a real conversation we were just cordial for the kids.
"Mommy when's daddy gonna come" Heiress asked me as we stood on my mom's porch.
"He said he's on his way, you ready to get some candy" I asked her.
She nodded.
"And I want to spend the night with daddy tonight" she said.
"If he says you can then okay" I said.
She smiled.
I was done being the bad guy. Every time they wondered where Taj was I made up something or if they wanted to go stay with him at his moms but now he was gonna have to cover his own ass.
"Dada" King smiled.
I looked and the kids ran over to Taj except Titan he stayed seated near me on the porch.
"You gonna say hi Papa" I asked.
"When he comes up here" he said.
I nodded.
He was old enough to realize something was off but he didn't ask anything and I really didn't know what to tell him even if I wanted to.
Taj walked over.
"Hey" he said to me.
I gave him a small smile and he hugged me and kissed my cheek.
"What up Pop, you good" he asked as he held the daddies girl.
"Yes, can we go now" Titan asked walking past Taj.
Taj looked at me and even I was confused.
"Titan" I said.
He looked back at me.
"Yes" he said.
"I can't get a hug, damn Junie I ain't see you all day" Taj said.
"Daddy Titans mad because you sleep at Nanas and not our house. Daddy can I stay with you at Nanas" Heiress went on.
"Hold mamas" Taj said and put her down.
"Junie come see about me" Taj said to him nodding to the car.
"I'm good" Titan said and went inside my mom's house.
"Titan" I said just as the door closed.
"G what the fuck" Taj said.
I sighed.
"Just come on so we can get this shit over with" I said rolling my eyes.
We took the kids inside and Taj got Titan to come downstairs and we took them walking around the neighborhood.
Taj went out and got a double stroller and it had a part for Heiress to stand on as we pushed it.
Titan stood by me and I wrapped one arm around him and kissed his head as we walked. The kids went up to different doors and Taj and I took turns going with them up to different doors.
We decided to let them walk the whole neighborhood this year since we have the stroller.
