Annabelle
"Stefan, why are you taking me downstairs?" I sighed as I followed him.
"You said you wanted to be involved so I'm letting you be involved," Stefan explained to me as he led me to where Damon, Elena, and Bonnie were standing.
"Good, now that everyone's here, I can start explaining the plan," Elena said as she looked over at Damon. "Look, Damon, we need to give the device to Isobel."
"Absolutely not," Damon said quickly, not allowing Elena to further explain.
"Just hear me out," Elena sighed.
"I'm not gonna give the device to Isobel so she can give it to John," Damon argued. "Who's going to turn around and kill me. I like being a living dead thing."
"Wait. What device?" I questioned, glancing around the room.
"Damon has this device that can be harmful to vampires. It supposedly sends out some sort of noise that only vampires can detect," Stefan explained to me, to which I nodded.
"But it'll be useless," Elena continued on anyway, despite Damon shutting down her idea. "Bonnie can take its power away." Ah, I remember Stefan explaining to me that Bonnie was a witch.
"I don't trust her," Damon told Elena.
"I can remove the original spell," Bonnie spoke up.
"John and Isobel will never know," Elena added, looking at Damon as she waited for an answer.
"No. No, I'll get Jeremy my own way," Damon told the girl.
"Wait, what about Jeremy?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows as I looked at him.
"Isobel took Jeremy," Stefan informed and I nodded.
"Okay, so why aren't we getting him back?" Stefan grinned at me, almost giving me a knowing look.
"Yeah, Damon, how are you going to get him back?" Stefan asked, a cocky smile resting on his face. "Because Isobel is a vampire and Jeremy can be dead the second you walk in the door."
"Are you even up for this?" Damon questioned, looking at Bonnie. "I mean no offense. You're no Emily Bennet. Emily knew what she was doing."
"I've been practicing," Bonnie replied, though Damon didn't seem to believe she could actually do it.
"It's not piano lessons, honey." His words seemed to annoy Bonnie as she took a few steps toward Damon.
"What's your favorite book?" Bonnie asked him.
"What?"
"Name a book, any book." Damon raised his eyebrows, looking around the room at the many bookshelves.
"Name a book," Damon repeated. "'How about Call of The Wild,' Jack London?" Bonnie grinned, turning around to face the bookshelf. After a moment, a book flew off of it and Damon caught it. He stared at it, making sure it was the right book. "Jack London. Great parlor trick."
