Annabelle
"THAT'S IT, LOVE, drink some more blood." My eyes fluttered open to see my uncle and aunt hovering over me, my uncle's wrist pressed against my mouth.
"There's those pretty eyes," Bekah commented, hand moving to brush a strand of hair behind my ear. I pushed Nik's wrist away from my mouth, shuffling back.
My eyes darkened as I looked at him. "You did this," I snapped. "This is all your fault."
"Now, now, love, you are just fine. My blood should speed up your healing process and we'll get you to the hospital to get a blood bag," Nik explained, standing up and offering me his hand. I glared at him, instead letting my aunt help me up.
"You promised my father a long time ago that you'd look after me no matter what," I said, tears filling my eyes. "And yet you were the one who almost got me killed. All for your stupid hybrids."
"Little one, you know it's not like that," Nik said, taking a step toward me. I shook my head and pressed myself more into my aunt's side, her arm wrapping around me.
"Leave her be, brother," Bekah snapped. Nik put his hands up in defense, stepping back.
"Well, whenever you're done with this," Nik motioned towards our conjoined figures as my aunt hugged me. "We shall go to the hospital. I need to get blood from Elena to make more hybrids."
"You don't even care?" My voice cracked as I looked up at him. "I nearly died because you compelled Stefan to kill Elena."
"You can't die from a wooden stake," Nik merely rolled his eyes. "You need white oak, remember?"
"I'm not an Orginal," I snapped. "You don't know that."
"You've been stabbed in the heart by wood before and you didn't die," Bekah reminded me gently. "You weren't bitten, Belle. You were created into a vampire by magic, that makes you an original., even if you had to trigger that side."
"See, you wouldn't have died," Nik commented.
"It hurt being stabbed," I said, my mouth forming a thin line. "Do you know what it feels like to feel yourself being drained of blood? I felt like a human being fed on."
"Don't be dramatic," Nik told me, moving past us. "I'm going to the hospital. Join me or don't." I watched him go before pulling away from my aunt.
"I need blood," I said quietly, earning a nod from my aunt.
"Then we're going to get you some," Bekah assured me and the two of us trailed after my determined uncle.

Despite healing a lot slower than my family, the blood bag helped a lot and sped up my healing process.
"Hey, Care," I greeted the girl as I stepped into her house. Tyler was here as well, thankfully, so I would be able to reunite with both of my friends.
